Great Incense burner
I would’ve given this product a 6 star rating but the first one arrived broken it’s fragile. But GOOD NEWS! It was replaced quickly and I absolutely love this incense burner. It’s perfect! The ashes are contained and not dropped on my furniture. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. This incense burner is also a nice eyepiece with ez cleanup. Come with a brush to sweep out collected incense ashes.

It’s beautiful the hole that holds the brass pincher bar as I would call it is a little bit tight so you’ll have to work that in a little bit. Came with a free little pack of incense which that’s always nice I had just ordered my regular so I’m set for quite a while now. The price was excellent and it keeps the ashes contained much better than my traditional old school flat board stick like that I had forever. And you can move it around easily and safely as you see the ashes catch at the bottom and it comes with a little duster brush to clean easily.

I bought this because I follow an East Asian lifestyle, and I burn a lot of incense. I wanted something simple that would help catch ash from incense a bit better than my other incense burner trays. While gorgeous, they do leave a little bit of ash behind. So I clean more in those areas. With this encapsulated square glass tube I thought it would save on all the cleaning and flyaway ash. And It Does do that! Perfectly. And it has a more modern look and makes the areas where I use this incense holder style look even less cluttered because of the see-through nature of the glass. As far as holding the incense stick and catching all of ash, this definitely works. And it looks lovely and calming as the incense burns and the fragrant smoke floats into the air – sans ash. For these reasons I have rated it a 4. Now I removed a star because of the way this incense holder is crafted. Basically the roach clip that holds the incense has grooves and when it clamps onto the incense stick, it will push it in one direction or the other forcing the burning end closer to the glass wall of the holder. You will need to adjust where it clamps or turn the incense stick as sometimes incense sticks can be bent and are not perfectly straight. Most of the time making a couple slight adjustments works fine. So I am okay with that. However, the way this is put together – although simple – makes it very delicate and I already know I will need to replace it at some point.When it arrived there is the incense clamp and rod that is 1 piece. There is the square glass tube, and there is a small wooden base. There is a precut hole in one side of the wooden base. This very tiny hole is where you will insert the incense holder rod. It should be inserted so that the incense clamp is sitting directly above the middle of the square glass tube. Once you insert the incense holder rod into the precut hole of the wooden base you will notice that it is a bit shallow and very very easy for the rod to wiggle around if you press too hard, thus actually making the hole bigger. So, not knowing this I accidentally pushed harder on the rod because I thought it had not reached the bottom of the precut hole and wound up pushing the rod against the wood accidentally making the hole wider. So I next used paper wrapped around the bottom of the incense holder rod to add some ‘bulk’ to ‘seat’ the rod properly so it would remain standing upright over the opening of square glass holder.The roach clip requires a little strength to open it. Just make sure you aren’t pushing the rod at too much of an angle as you are removing a burnt end of an incense stick from the roach clip and inserting a new incense stick. If you press the rod at an angle while doing this, you will wind up making the whole in the base larger and the incense stick will no longer stand straight.I hope this explanation made sense. I would still recommend it. I am still able to use it. And it works fine. But I am far more careful when removing a burnt end of an incense stick from the roach clip and inserting a new incense stick.Hope this information helps you make a decision. Happy shopping!

Best Purchase for Incense Sticks
Perfect, It came packed very well so the glass would not break, the ash catcher is what we needed we had a holder without the ash catcher and the ash flew burnt hole in chair, was easy to put together it also included a brush and pack of incense, very sturdy on wood base, the smoke flow is perfect makes whole room calm, This is way better functional then the open style. The holder is tight so the sticks do not moves, I like it burns slower then the open air holders.

Amazing incense holder
This is simply one of the best inventions I’ve seen in a while and why didn’t I think of it??? I grew up in a house that lit incense, so it has always been a part of my life, and we’ve always had to do the balancing act with the incense holder as we carried it to the trash to empty it of the ashes. This incense holder does all that for you – its design is ingenious as it holds all the ashes in the bottom of the receptacle for you. I love that the receptacle is sturdy – a fact I found out when I dropped it on the floor. My daughter loved it so I bought her one too. A great gift whether for yourself or someone else you love.

Superb! I love this incense burner. It looks sleek, it’s practical, easy to carry around without the ash flying away. It’s good quality as well for it’s price. Since the incense stick is upside down, it will burn a bit faster so keep that in mind. But I do at times put the incense upward anyway and the ash still falls inside the glass! Great!
