Just a great Alexa device but space saving because it’s just a great alarm clock too. Many faces to choose from, no to bright to keep up light sleepers and it’s nice to be able to easily set an alarm when you just need a break but don’t want to lose track of time. I use this every day and all day for many things. Very easy for older person like me to use when my hands hurt and just can’t deal with little buttons.

I’ve been using an Echo Dot for over a year and loved having Alexa around, but I wanted something smarter and with a screen for my desk and bedside table. After some analysis, I decided to give the Echo Spot a try. Honestly, I’m glad I upgraded.★My First Impressions & Build QualityThe packaging felt premium, and the device itself looks modern and minimalistic. The round design really stands out compared to the Echo Dot.Note: The 2.5-inch screen is small but surprisingly sharp.It fits perfectly on my nightstand without taking up too much space.★What I Love About It1. Compact & stylish design and it looks perfect on my desk.2. Built-in screen makes checking the time, weather, and notifications effortless.3. Sound quality is not better than my Echo Dot but its amazing.★What Could Be BetterThis all are my personal.opinion. The screen is small great for quick info. Bass is okay, but if you want powerful sound, an Echo Show might suit you better.After upgrading from my Echo Dot, the Echo Spot feels like the perfect little smart assistant. I use it every day for music, alarms, and controlling my smart home devices. For anyone looking for a compact, smart, and stylish Alexa device, I’d highly recommend the Echo Spot.

Great sound in such a little device
I’ve been using the Echo Spot in my bedroom now for a while, and overall it’s a nice little device. The compact size makes it easy for the nightstand, desk or even in the bathroom. The round screen is unique and modern looking. It’s easy to check the weather, play music and play audio books. Sound quality is awesome. I have set alarm times to wake up to music and it makes a great way to wakeup. This is a good choice for a simple user friendly device.

GOOD FOR THIS PRICE POINT
Product arrived on time and well packaged. Worked fine out of the box. This was purchased to replace a Show 5 that was still working fine. I was simply tired of the rotating advertisements and info that went on every time you spoke to it.There is NONE of that nonsense with this device. The display is crisp and clear. It moves back to the home screen on command every time. The display can also be commanded off at night if you prefer a completely dark room, and it does also offer night mode which switches the display to red and reduces the information displayed from time and weather down to time and alarms set. The sound quality is about the same as the Show 5 (It seems to use a similkar sized but slightly smaller speaker per the specifications). It is acceptable with a surprising amount of base for its small size. It is not going to offer the same sound quality as the larger Echo devices, but that is to be expected. If compared to a Bose speaker rated at the top scale of 5.0 I would put this at around a 3.5 with the larger Echo devices at around 4.0. To be specific, the sound quality is OK, but you will not hear the little nuances, such as the reindeer bells at the end of Manheim’s Stille Nacht. Be aware that there is NO LINE OUT feature on this device, but it does offer Bluetooth connectivity.Going back to the display…I REALLY like the way this display operates and the information it does display, as well as the stuff it doe s NOT annoy you with. Be aware that this device does NOT support video. I am very plkeased with this device and will likely purchase a spare the next time a sale price is offered!

The best multi function Bluetooth speaker/alarm clock
I probably got this for a different reason than most. I recently upgraded my laptop to one with a great price and great specs – except for the built in speakers. The speakers on the laptop are really bad and way too quiet, so I needed a good Bluetooth speaker to boost the volume. I don’t like going through the hassle of returning things, so I’d been torn trying to decide between the full size echo and this echo spot because I was worried the spot wouldn’t have enough power for loud volume when I wanted it, but I also really wanted the LED clock face of the spot. I’m so glad I took the chance on the spot.As a Bluetooth speaker, this tiny thing does not disappoint. Clear and rich sound with plenty of volume for a small to medium size room or office. I have it in a small office, around 150 sqft, and I typically leave the volume at 70%, which is plenty for that size space when watching videos or listening to music. And this coming from a former military guy who doesn’t have the best hearing. At 100% volume it’s powerful enough to actually be too loud – very surprising for something so compact.Add to that the extra functions of the LED clock face always showing the time/outside temp/weather, Alexa controlling the IoT devices/lights and setting timers and alarms by voice as needed – this thing has been a game changer for my little office space. It’s so good and convenient that I’m considering putting one in almost every room in the house now.

I already cherished the small size and ease of use that the original Echo Spot offered my bedside table. However, this new Echo Spot? Completely revolutionary. Amazon did a fantastic job with the update. It feels like a more sophisticated, contemporary version of a product I already loved, with a clearer, brighter, and more adjustable display.Additionally, the sound quality is noticeably better, with fuller audio that produces warm, clear sounds for Alexa responses, music, and alarms. I truly value that they made deliberate enhancements where they were needed while preserving the best aspects of the previous model, such as its size and clever features.

Que puedo decir, es hermoso, se ve muy elegante en cualquier mesita de noche o escritorio. También es muy útil, yo lo uso como alarma, organizador de recordatorios, para manejar varios dispositivos, mi PC, entre otras cosas. El micrófono es bastante bueno. En cuanto a la sensibilidad de la pantalla es mala, es un poco difícil de configurarlo directamente en la pantalla, es mejor hacerlo por la APP. La App a mi parecer es regular, podrían mejorarlo mucho más. También lo escucho para usarlo como bocina de PC y para escuchar música. El sonido es aceptable para cuartos pequeños, pero es entendible su falta de potencia por su fin de ser un reloj. En cuanto a Alexa, siento que sigue siendo demasiada tonta. No sé porque no implementan ya algo como Chatgpt en los asistentes personales, creo que ya es algo necesario y fácil de implementar en estos tiempos. Alexa muchas veces no entiende o no sabe qué hacer con ciertas instrucciones.

Mi Amazon Alexa me parece que es un asistente inteligente que facilita la vida diaria con solo usar la voz. Lo utilizamos para reproducir música, responder preguntas, organizar recordatorios y también para divertirnos. Yo elegí el color negro, lo único que pasa es que hay que limpiar de forma constante para evitar que se llene de polvo y se nota porque por el color es inevitable que se ensucie. El tamaño ayuda a colocarlo en cualquier área del hogar.

I replaced my Google Home bedroom clock with this small but mighty sound. I find you do have more control and option than its rivals. The sound is great for such a small unit however I think the Google bedroom had a small edge on the sound. The Alexa is way ahead for the setup. Amazon meke it easy with most of the setup already loaded at Amazon. Alarm can be set or cancel from your phone which is great. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.
