Best Mop System Ever!
I have always hated mopping the floors, until I got this O-Cedar mop set. Now, I actually enjoy mopping because this system is so well-designed, high quality, easy to use, and not sloppy/messy like traditional mops. Nothing is more annoying when trying to clean than having an unwieldy, sloppy mop head dumping filthy water all over the floor. This is avoided with this awesome set from O-Cedar. I really love the size of this mop head and the spin system that easily removes excess water. This allows me to wet mop the floor with just the right amount of water so I do not have extra water all over the place. I like the length of the strands of fabric that are on the mop head also because they are just the right length to efficiently clean large or small areas and this mop head makes it easier to scrub dirty areas, corners, and trim than larger mops with long fabric strands. The telescoping mop handle allows you to adjust it to the right height, which is also great because this way the mop is comfortable to use no matter what your height or preference. Everything about this mop system is well thought out and makes mopping the floors as efficient and as enjoyable as possible.You will need to refill the bucket more frequently than with a standard bucket, but this is because there needs to be room for the spinner and it would not have been practical to make this bucket any larger simply to hold more water. If they had done this, the bucket would be too large and heavy for most users to comfortably carry. I do not mind doing this because it ensures that I get rid of the dirty water and replace it with clean water more frequently, which leads to cleaner floors, and because I do not want to haul a bucket any larger than this one around my house. This bucket should allow you to mop one room (or maybe 2 if your floors are not very dirty) before changing and refilling the water.Overall, I would have to say this is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. It is exciting to find a product with such attention to detail and that makes a formerly cumbersome chore more enjoyable. This will lead to much cleaner floors at my house because I will no longer put off mopping or defer to the Swiffer, which simply cannot get the floors as clean as a real mop. Thanks O-Cedar!

Great Cleaning Product
Great cleaning product. The pedal to spin removes excess water which is a great feature. Washable mop heads are easy to care for. My sister told me to get this and I’ve recommended it to others.

Fun mopping system! Get this if you want clean floors without much of the fuss!
I was searching for a mop to replace a Shark Steam mop that had stopped working. It dawned on me how efficient our mops and mop buckets were at work. I looked for something comparable to the mop and mop bucket system that was affordable and of good quality and this is what I decided on. It arrived on time and has made mopping actually fun at our house (and this is according to my preteen daughter who loves to use it so much, she has taken to mopping multiple times a day!) The fibers on the mop head are very absorbent and the head moves forward and back. The mop bucket has a spinner in it that spins the water out of the mop head when you step on the pedal on the bucket. You can make the mop as dry or as wet as you want it by stepping on the pedal less for a wetter mop or more for a drier mop. The only thing I don’t like about this mop is that you can’t change out the mop head to launder it. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star product in my book.

Great Bucket & Mop System!
My last spin-type mop was purchased many years ago from QVC and I loved it! However, the pedal on the bucket just broke and I needed to replace it. The O-Cedar mop fits the bill. The great thing is that my old mop can be used with this new bucket, as well as the mop that came with it. That gives me some options! I cannot believe how this bucket really spins so much of the water out of the mop! The trick is to not hold the mop tight and just let it go! Does a better than my old bucket. I have hardwood floors and like to wet mop it occasionally in between using Bona w/special mop. These floors cannot get too wet because it will ruin them, so this mop works great! BTW, for those posting that they can’t get the mop dry enough, it’s a matter of just setting the mop head in the bucket, hold the upper part of the mop handle lightly (actually, just guide it without really grabbing onto it), and then pump the bucket lever with your foot 2-3 times. It’s that simple and it’s amazing how much water is spun out of the mop head!Many of the negative comments indicate problems with keeping the mop extended. I notice the mop was a bit tricky when I first added the upper part and it wouldn’t stay in place. So, I removed the end cap (red hanging piece) and then grabbed the lower and upper parts of the rod and TWISTED IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS UNTIL IT LOCKED IN PLACE. It worked perfectly! Then I put the red cap piece back on and have absolutely no problems with it at all! It’s tall enough for me (5’7″ and my husband 6’0′). Also, some complaints have been made about the mop head being hard to manipulate, not thick enough, etc. What I’ve learned from using this type of mop in the past (different manufacturer) is to make sure the mop head is placed flat on the floor with the threads/ropes splayed out evenly and using a side swipe method. This works very well on my hardwood and tile floors. The triangle part is nice for getting into the corners. Also, some people have made comments that it doesn’t go behind toilets and that isn’t my experience. It goes easily behind my three toilets, but, to be honest, I clean that area every time I clean the toilets so I’m not depending on the the mop being my sole source of cleaning those areas. It’s a nice mop and bucket and the price isn’t that bad. A reviewer also mentioned that using the same water to wash and rinse is not the way to go, but that isn’t an issue as far as I’m concerned. I use vinegar with the water, squish the mop really good in the water before spinning, and I feel that my floors are clean. Vacuuming/sweeping before mopping makes a HUGE difference and even with two cats (and they are slobs), this keeps my floors really clean. I just don’t understand all the negative comments.

Great replacement
Love this mop set. My original pole broke and I used this as a perfect replacement. The durability has been great, it holds up to the functionality and allows me to resize with no issues. Ad a replacement, I feel I received the best value for my money. Cleans great and wrings out perfectly every time.

Expensive to have this shipped overseas, but if you mop this is a real timesaver. A bit large, so make sure you have closet room to store. An American convenience I can’t do without.
