Attractive farmhouse, cabin or mission style lamp, but need to draw your attention to a design flaw.
4.2 stars for being exactly as photographed and described, but a flaw another reviewer pointed out as well that is very hard to notice in the photos because you’re not looking for it. Whether it matters to you or not is your call.The quality is good. There is a shortcut to keep the price point low, but overall, it’s attractive and worth the affordable price of $24 as of this writing. Rather than solid or hollow tubing, flat, thin metal is used in the cage, but it’s not overly noticeable from so high up, due in part to the clever way the bottom edge is turned up. It gives the illusion that the piece is thicker than it is. This shortcut was not concealed in the photos, so it wasn’t a surprise, but I wanted to point it out in case any of you missed it.The flaw however, is not as good. Again, this a flush mount light so what you’re looking at is about 8 or more feet from the floor, and when the light is on you can’t see it. Heck, Mrs Aloha Friday and I are older; we can’t really see it well with it off either. ;o) There is a round disc that you screw over the socket before you add a bulb (none provided) that holds the cage to the ceiling mount. The screw thread area is visible afterwards because the cage is open; there’s no shade or anything to cover that part up. If you fixate on it, it’s unsightly. I don’t think most people will notice or care. They’ll probably just think it’s an intentional industrial modern look.Mrs AF is extremely crafty and has temporarily devised a way to improve the situation by wrapping the area with parchment paper. She does this with other exposed bulbs anyway because she’s a little sensitive to bright light. In doing this, it just so happens to cover the screw threads as well. You can see it in our photos. She’s going to look into a diffuser or some sort of shade, but if she can’t find the right thing, she’s going to cut the parchment paper better and I’ll put it on better. I just taped it up haphazardly. Parchment paper can withstand oven temperatures, so it’s fine with an LED bulb.A smaller issue is that the silver finishing screws need to be replaced with black ones to match the lamp base. I mean, come on folks. That’s kind of elementary.Installation was a breeze, which was important to me. I was replacing an existing fixture, which makes it really easy anyway, but this experience was different. If you are new to this kind of thing, ask your electrician or an experienced person to show you how. This is an excellent one to learn on because it’s essentially plug n’ play. Normally you have to wrap the stripped wires together, but they include plugs that are like phone and cable plugs! It seriously couldn’t be easier, and I really appreciated this feature.Well gang, now the hard part is yours. Decision making! I hope this helped. Aloha!

Medium quality but looks ok.
I personally wasn’t that impressed with this Oteedo Modern Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light. I like the look of it and the quality is just acceptable for the price.My main issues were that it was a bit difficult to put together because the screw holes did not line up well so I had to struggle a bit to get it together. Also well assembling The top portion I did not realize that I was spinning the wrong piece in order to tighten and wound up tearing the wires out of the circuit board. I take responsibility for that part because it was clearly something that I caused; However, more complete assembly from the manufacturer would solve that issue. The new fancy features with the remote make it versatile for any room or mood do plus for that. Overall I give it three stars but have to say, They just don’t make them like they used to.

Not hard to install and looks nice
This wasn’t too hard to install and it does look nice. Everything came individually wrapped with no foam which I haven’t seen before but it works. It has room for 6 lights and brightens the room pretty well. It gives the room a nice farmhouse look. There are no quick connect wire pieces but it still wasn’t too hard to install.
