Color and shape are holding.
Love them. They dry quickly, add a pop of color, and so far they haven’t got the curly edges when washed. Had them now for about 4-6 months and they still look new. They are, or at least to me, feel light and that’s what I like. Felt a bit rough at first, but after the first week or so they soften. It does much better than my expensive terry cloth and actually picks up water left behind from them.

It’s hard to find Things of quality anymore, especially on amazon. Straight-to-the-Landfill Chinese made facsimiles clog the Stuff-o-Sphere and nary a decent product can show itself above that milling clusterf*** of idiotically-branded absolute rubbish. There is zero quality control anywhere in the process, nor anyone asking “does this patent-disregarding piece of total crap at least attempt to do what the product it is made to look like does?”That answer, were it posed, is nearly always “god no.” How many readers have stuck their forehead up to a chinese-made digital thermometer in the last 1.5 years and seen a temperature reading even close to the range most mammals of any kind function within–and how many times? I would bet my next 2 paychecks the answer is all readers, and every time.These towels, on the other hand, are Damn Nice. They are the right size. They do not shrink and/or warp into novel new sizes or forms. The color holds through many washes–I have washed them every week for 2 years and they still look good. The material, and the weave are nice. They are not loose-woven and therefore falling apart in a week. The fabric feels good on your hands, it is not too thick like a gross terry cloth affair, yet it is thick enough to insulate when used to grab hot handles and pans, and plenty absorbent for those who use them like a busy line cook might.Overall, these are some top-notch towels. Very cheerful colors and patterns that brighten up the kitchen and are a pleasure to use. Kudos to the makers!

Colorful Tea Towels
I ordered these so I could have the teal ones. The others I might use as wrapping paper because everyone wants their gifts wrapped in tea towels, right? Not kidding. I hate buying wrapping paper because it’s not usually recyclable.I also washed the ones I’m planning to use because, well, I always wash new items before use. Knowing that these are made in India and are cotton I figured they would shrink. This is not necessarily a bad thing. They are still plenty big for drying my hands or the dishes. I’m posting a before and after picture for you all.

Beautiful Colors but…
I went back and forth between three or four stars and I’m not sure I chose the right ranking. I really love the way they look and they look as good in person as they do online. I ordered them knowing that they were waffle style–and I have always been disappointed by the absorbency (or lack thereof) with waffle towels. The description said “super absorbent” and, because they are so cute, I went ahead and bought them. So, although I did not find them super absorbent, I was still prepared to give four stars. When I washed them I found the colors stayed vibrant–no running dyes–that was great. They do come out of the dryer VERY wrinkled and I was surprised how much this bothered me. Did it bother me enough to get out an iron? No, of course not, but I do wish they were a bit thicker and less prone to wrinkling. I still find them very cute and they do brighten up my kitchen…So, I guess if you love the look of them and are OK with waffle style and don’t mind wrinkled kitchen towels…these may be the towels for you.
