Beautiful piece but sketchy electronics that is not worth the price paid
This is very nice looking but I don’t understand the price point. I’ve had some problem with the electronics, constantly having to reset the countdown clock

Extremely disappointed. Poor lighting!
I’m really torn on this item because it’s unique & festive but there are a lot of cons. I’m really considering returning it- the only thing stopping me is that there is nothing else out there that’s like it.Pro: unique & festive. Definitely different and I’m guessing no one else in your neighborhood will have anything like it. It plays music and “technically” has added color lights.Cons: the entire lighting design is unacceptable for how much this thing costs. During the day you can see the design with Santa and the tree, but you can’t read the clock because the sun drowns it out. I actually find myself constantly thinking it reset during the day because it looks blank. The only way you can tell it’s running is by watching the seconds carefully- you will see the faded lines tick away if you watch closely but any other section that stays still for a while just looks like it’s turned off.Come nightfall the countdown clock is visible and fun, but you really can’t see Santa and the tree. Like you almost have no idea you’re looking at Santa & a tree unless you’re close up. Now, there are some colored lights kind of scattered around the design but the actual light they give off is flat, and the lights don’t glow or illuminate the design at all- Additionally the placement of many of the lights is just plain weird – why is there a light on the teddy bear’s neck, in Santa’s beard, or on a present? Considering the lights dont add visibility they are just there for design purpose and the placement of said design makes no sense. The worst part is the “countdown to Christmas” part doesn’t light up, so unless you know what you’re looking at, it just looks like we have a random countdown clock in our yard. It’s extremely unpractical and disappointing for how much this costs.I keep looking at this item trying to see the justification of the cost. I live by the old phrase “you get what you pay for” but with this I just don’t see it. I really don’t ever have issue with spending good money on a special product that brings joy and magic to a home that we can use for years to come. In fact I love being the house on the block that kids stop at and say “wow!” To. I thought this product would be something special and to be honest I do still want to make this product work because there is nothing else out there like it, but I am leaning toward a return. But quite frankly it was $300 or even $400 it still would be overpriced and disappointing. $700 is a lot of money for what it is and I’m just not seeing the justification, even if there isn’t a cheaper dupe on the market.
