WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Rotary cutters are a tool everyone Amazon shopper should own. Making mince meat out of cardboard boxes couldn’t be made easier. Better in many cases than a utility knife this is sharper and safer. This unit has a light which is a bonus feature other models I own don’t have. You can also cut linen, leather, some fabrics and foam. This model has any easy to use dual safety trigger & button for its compact size. It’s comfortable to use and seems well made enough for it’s price range .

Great For More Than Just Cutting Cardboard!
I require a great box-cutter in my volunteer work, as we go through TONS of boxes on a daily basis, so I was psyched to try this rechargeable cardboard cutter in a real world scenario. It’s a tad bit bulky, but has a great hand-feel to it, if that makes sense. It comes with a USB charging cord, and extra blade, and an awesome semi-hard shelled carrying case. Though it cuts pieces up to 1/4″ thickness quite well, the range of motion is a bit limited. By this, I mean you really have to cut in a straight line for this to work fluidly. Due to the design, it is primarily a right-handed device (I tried it with my left-hand and found it too awkward). It only takes about an hour or two to fully charge, and though I’ve used it on the job, I still haven’t had to recharge it yet, so the power consumption is pretty decent. It seems to have a durability to it that I can appreciate, but haven’t really tested that out. What I like most are the safety features built into the cutter. At the bottom, the circular blade is housed in a protective metal “sheath” of sorts, which guards against accidental injury from handling, as well as a safety feature where the device will only operate if simultaneously pulling the trigger AND pressing the safety button on top. I know this sounds complicated, but the cutter is designed ergonomically for this to feel natural – you depress the trigger with your four fingers, and activate the circular motion of the blade with your thumb – easy peasy! My only caveat is that, due to the design, the positioning is a bit limited. In situations where speed is essential, I ended up putting this down and resorting to a manual box cutter, which allowed me more mobility on the fly. I feel more comfortable using this powered cutter in an environment where I don’t need to worry about pacing. All in all, it’s a great utility to have in your tool kit – it’s safe, decently designed, and will be handy for more than just cutting cardboard!

Just ok
3 stars. The cutter works fine and it’s easy enough to use, but a regular box cutter is still much faster. It also struggles a bit on thicker cardboard. It aggravated me more than it helped me lol.

Very effective electric shears
This tool was billed as a cardboard cutter, and that’s what I got it for. Is does a lot more, though. It cuts many thin soft materials including cardboard, leather, carpets, felt, plant stems, plastic sheets, and aluminum. So far I’ve only used it with cardboard. It cuts a nice predictable line and leaves a smooth edge. The motor is quiet and fairly powerful. It charges from a USB-C to USB-A cable (provided) and a USB charger (not included). There is a light to illuminate the cutting path. The tool comes with one spare blade, a screwdriver for the blade mounting screw, and a USB-A to USB-C cable. It has a nice zippered semi-rigid case with a mesh pocket and an elastic retaining band to hold the tool. The instruction sheet is printed in a microscopic font, such that I literally can’t read the document. Based on the pictures there are instructions for changing the blade, how to charge the tool, and how to operate the tool. To be fair, the titles of the sections are in a large enough font to read, so I can see that there’s a lot more information than this – I just can’t tell what it says. The blade is very sharp and the motor is powerful – so there is a certain amount of risk of injury. You do have to keep your fingers well clear of the cutting path. The tool feels very solid and durable – I expect it to last a long time. I was not able to find any reference to where to find replacement blades. That’s a drawback for imported tools like this – access to the manufacturer is not guaranteed.

Three-Layer Ammo Tower for Handgun DayRechargeable Box Cutter That Doesn’t Whine
So I got this new cordless cutter for cardboard and fabric scraps. Value is respectable—costs more than a manual knife but saves time when you’ve got a stack of boxes after a move or gear order. Functionally, the motor pushes a tungsten-edge blade through single and double wall without bogging, and it’ll nibble carpet cleanly. Size is compact—fits the hand without feeling toy-like, and it balances well for longer cuts. Quality looks nice—tight housing, no weird rattles, and a trigger that won’t fire by sneezing at it. Durability will live or die by the blade, but after several breakdown sessions it’s still slicing instead of tearing. Fitment isn’t a thing here, but the guard keeps your line straight against a square. Ease of use is dead simple: charge via USB, click the safety, squeeze, and guide. If you break down boxes weekly, this pays for itself in spared wrists.s

Works great, holds a charge and cuts like butter. It will be used to tear down my package boxes.
I got this because I get a lot of packages and getting rid of the boxes is a pain. We have one large garbage can provided by waste management and anything in it will be take, anything NOT in it will be left for a bulk pickup. As I usually open the boxes, nest them when empty as best I can, and then wait a few weeks to get rid of them on bulk day. Now I can easily and quickly break down these boxes so the easily fit into the garbage and will be escorted off my property 3x a week .This tool makes that so easy. It comes with a small case and USB-A&C charging cable and an extra blade with changing tool. I want to remove a star from the review because the instructions are almost totally illegible, due to there tiny font. If this is the case, when manufacturers can’t fit all the instructions on a pamphlet. please include a link to a readable PDF or document so it can easily be downloaded and read or printed as required. These tiny fonts are VERY ANNOYING and make me feel really old.My daughter, who is artsy, wants one for her crafting.
