READ THIS IF YOU DON’T LIKE HOW SHE HANGS.
I do wish she had come with “rope” that looked like rope instead of the cheap white poly stuff (Toscano, shame on you for being cheap), but that can be replaced. And if you find she doesn’t swing flat, she was swinging at too sharp an angle (as I am reading here as many a complaint), cut of a long piece of thin fishing line. Loop the fishing line around the bottom of her wings and tie it at the top of where you have here hanging, and now she will swing straight. I hope my photo will help a little, may have to edit this. I hope you can see the fishing line behind her.

I used the attached rope to wrap around a 48″ shepherd’s hook a couple of times to hang in my flower bed. It looks awesome and eliminated any problems other reviewers mentioned about needing fishing line to make it set evenly. Also, when the wind plows it moves slightly, as if swinging. I’m very pleased with this purchase! I would both give as a gift & highly recommend.

I am a little disappointed in this
I am a little disappointed in this. It looks pretty nice and has good detail but – two things I don’t like:A) the rope for the swing is not the same as in the picture. Mine came with a cheap looking white string – does not look right. And I don’t suspect it will hold up too long being outside.B) the wings on the back of the fairy are so heavy that when you hang it it pulls the entire statue back too far – and it looks abnormal – in terms of a swinging stature (she is tipped back too far). It’s no balanced right due to the heavy wings. Not sure if there is a creative way to make it more level – would appreciate a comment if anyone else has this same situation – and what they did to overcome it.I though about returning it – but probably won’t

And that’s not easy to do. This item was larger and better made than I expected. I’ve spent more than this on what turned out to be a Christmas tree ornament. This was a great deal and I’m thinking of getting another for a gift.

I bought this for a special birthday gift – and it did not disappoint. Size is perfect too! Materials used are of great quality, finish and design are beautiful and I am seriously thinking of getting one for me!

Esta hada es el “patito feo” de mi colección. La temática del columpio no funciona, al final la he situado encima de un tronco con un ramo de flores en cada mano (las manos estaban alzadas y agujereadas por las cuerdas). Las fotos de la web y las fotos de los compradores no corresponden en absoluto al tamaño real de la figura que es diminuta (deben haber aumentado el objetivo de la cámara porque la figura no se ve si la situamos en una rama de árbol). Es pequeña y además poco perfilada de sombras, se necesita contrastar con pintura los relieves de la cara sinó resulta muy homogénea y casi imperceptibles los detalles. En fín, me la he quedado porque me daba “pena” echarla del grupo. Eso sí, le he reservado el sitio más alto del jardín (un tronco de 80 cm alto) para poderla ver.

Beautiful and elegant. Having been looking for sometime for a fairy themed ornament, this beautiful fairy on a swing more than fits the bill. A nice size, and a lovely expression and colouring. Looks lovely hanging in our pear tree.
