Fairly attractive light, we ended up with lightbulbs showing from a side view
This light was fairly easy to install but it was a little bit fiddly at times. In fairness, I didn’t dock any stars for the fiddly nature, because my “helper” son ran off with the instructions while we were getting set up and we could not find them anywhere. The fiddly steps might have been addressed in the instructions, so since I can’t say for sure, I can’t dock any stars for it. We were able to figure out the installation without any instructions which shows it wasn’t too complicated. You have to have it put together a good amount before you can attach it to the ceiling and my husband had to keep taking it down to redo part of it but again, instructions might prevent that. The metal is a little bit thin and it would be disappointing for a higher priced item, but for around $40, it was overall fair quality for the price.I took a star off because the side view isn’t smooth like the pictures, we ended up with light bulbs being visible from the side, which just doesn’t look so good. It’s kind of a small light and doesn’t work well where we were going to put it, but now that we know how to install it, we’re going to take it down and reinstall it upstairs in a small walk-in closet.

Beautiful light fixture! easy to follow instructions

Really nice, a little small
A very plain box. But has lots of foam in it to keep the glass in one piece. The glass is pretty thick. And the swirls on it are very nice. I didn’t see any horrible lines or casting molds marks. The glass itself is very clear. It will show off the light bulbs, so I hit it with some fog spray paint to make it look more like etched glass. The effect on it was very good. I only sprayed the inside and it was enough to blur the bulbs from the bottom so they’re not as visible. The overall construction is pretty solid. Came with replacement screws and everything I needed. It even had some spare items which is also appreciated. Especially since I did lose a screw / nut and was able to use the backup that was in the bag to replace it. Overall a very well put together peace. I think it’s solid and fits well. The installation on it was pretty easy. I didn’t even have to swap out many parts when I took out the old fixture. I was just able to put in the new bracket run the wiring and be done with it. I appreciate that it came with the tools you need to tighten things down. I also appreciate the silicone washers that they have in it so that way the glass is in under too much pressure. Overall pretty nice for about fifty. The only reason I’m going to give it one star less is because the size of it doesn’t match the pictures that they’re using to advertise for it. It is a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. It works for my application in this, but overall watch the dimensions of it. Because the photos they use for advertising do not match the actual size. One star removed for the pictures not being to scale.

Nice upgrade to my old foyer light
My foyer needed an upgrade and I this light matched the colors of my ceiling fans. The light is dark bronze with frosted glass. It was easy to install and good instructions. It doesn’t come with bulbs, but that enables you to pick what kind of light you want (from daylight to a yellow).
