Well designed and built, worth the expense
We bought two of these Ashley power reclining sofas for our small home theater over a year ago. They get a workout daily and have performed flawlessly. They really are designed and built well mechanically and electronically without cutting corners. I’m an engineer and I don’t get impressed easily.I love that each of the three seat backs can be easily released and removed from the base making it much easier for two strong people to move it – in our case up the stairs and when I later added an elevated base for the rear sofa. The two slotted Qi wireless phone chargers in each sofa’s armrests work great without overheating the smartphones like the one in our car always does. The phone charger slot liner lifts out for easy cleaning – I wish our car had that feature. Lastly, each armrest opens up to reveal a deep storage compartment. It’s a good place to stow those gaming and TV remotes.When the center seat isn’t occupied, its seat back easily converts to a flip-down flat “table” with two good sized cup holders. The center headrest lifts up to reveal two built-in, down-facing LED lamps each with its own touch-sensitive control that cycles between low, high, and off.The left and right seat positions are push button controlled recliners that can be set to nearly any angle – all the way to flat if you’re so inclined (ha-ha!). The headrest is also push button controlled and I use it to help lift my head up and forward with the seat nearly fully reclined. It makes for a weirdly comfortable position to watch the big game and to easily doze off if it turns into a blowout.Lastly, the seats are slightly firm but not overly so. The faux leather surfaces clean up easily and seem durable enough. The sides aren’t as durable and wont take the same level of abuse as the seats so keep the rug rats’ sharp toys away. All in all, these sofas are certainly expensive, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for.

Absolutely Fantastic!!!!!
We LOVE this sofa! We had seen it at a store, but the price was horrific. I can’t believe I found the exact same thing on Amazon! We were worried about installation, but if was actually a snap. The hardest thing to deal with was the weight. Initially we thought the power cord didn’t come with it, but not to worry it was zip-tied to the bottom of the sofa. We plugged that in, then put each back section where they belonged. They just slip onto metal brackets, and then you connect the little power cords. Voila! The sofa has phone chargers, cup holders in the middle section along with lights that you just touch to make them come on…with different brightness levels. Also a pocket for things like magazines or whatnot. On top of all of that, it has power reclining for your feet and head rests, USB ports, and plenty of arm storage (TV remotes, kleenex, etc.). Highly, highly recommend this sofa! Did I mention how much money we saved over the retailer? Over $1500!!! Oh, one more thing, the fabric is nearly indestructible. You can take a key and scratch the fabric and not even see it, so it’s perfect for our large dog to join us. Yes…this is a BUY!

Very comfortable and stylish but ventilation is extremely important
another update: over a month later these couches are still making me sick. UPDATE: make sure to ventilate the room & couch. After owning these two couches for several weeks I developed a sinus infection and I was coughing. I suffer from chronic migraines so I didn’t realize the pattern immediately when the couches were off-gassing (VOC’s) If you’re going to put covers on the couch wait until it’s done off-gassing. I Googled some ways to remedy the off-gassing smell. With Winter temperatures it’s difficult to air out the room enough. Unfortunately I cannot enjoy my renovated living room due to the smell.I purchased two of these couches and I’m so glad that I did. The bells and whistles are an added bonus. My family agrees that these couches are very comfortable. The couches were delivered in well packaged huge boxes and were placed in our garage. My preteen son and I were able to move the bases into the house in addition to the three backs which click into place.

Comfy Furniture with good back support
Very comfy . Love it and its features.The only issue with this shipment was the tracking wasn’t updated often. After it hit Dallas no more tracking til delivery day and it delivered earlier than scheduled date which was hard to plan for since I had sons that needed to know when to move it in and put it together.

Good looking sofa.
I paid Amazon extra to deliver and put in place. The crew was courteous and professional. The guys unpacked the sofa put it place, set it up and plugged it I made sure it worked and hauled off the packing. Good looking sofa with the tan leather like material and brown piping and trim. Seems to be a well built product. The down side for some people is it is firm, after a few weeks of use it did soften up somewhat. Very comfortable. The powered recliner and headrest might be a little over kill but I deserve it.

Damaged
Came damaged, leather had tears in it. No options for an exchange. And only offered a a partial refund which was a 1/4 of what I payed for it to keep the damaged couch. I will now have to take the couch apart and return it.

Halloween was Black Friday!
Black Friday was on Halloween this year for me! I ordered this Sapphire (blue) sofa on Halloween (Friday). It shipped the same day from Florida and arrived yesterday (Thursday) to Ohio. The box looked horrible nevertheless it did it’s job and protected the sofa. The sofa looks great and everything works properly. My parents came over to test it and immediately fell in love with it. Mom fell asleep while reclined.For $1100 (shipping included), Black Friday was on Halloween this year for me! BTW, I love it too!

The sofa is nice and fairly comfortable, it was very firm for a few days but where I sit has sank drastically and although I’m on the heavier side (250) for the price this shouldn’t have sunk so quickly. I’m disappointed that such “quality” furniture seems so cheap.Everything else works great and looks great but I fear within a year I’ll have to replace it if it keeps sagging I may fall through it.
