There are 2 different styles in the package I bought. The large bin does not have a lid that locks in place. I use it to store cheeses and other items that do not need an air tight container. I love the clear bin and the size. The smaller bin has an air tight lid with the control for airflow. I LOVE THIS BIN. The different ways it can be configured really save space in my refrigerator and most importantly, my produce stays fresh 3 to 4 times longer! This is extremely important for where I live because our produce comes great distances by air and is usually not very fresh at the stores, but still VERY expensive. We live in a place with 3rd world standards. I have saved so much money on produce because it doesn’t go bad in 2 days. For me, these containers have been a game changer!

I use this for ice cubes. I like that you can lift the lid just by sliding it out a little bit to access ice cubes and it keeps the freezer taste away from the ice cube.

New produce fridge bin!
Love this bin! I use it for storing grapes or apples or other fruits and veggies in the fridge. The size is perfect holds 3 big bags of grapes since we eat a lot of grapes. The shape works great because it’s rectangular. The lid just sits on top has an optional vent on top. Sturdy weight and easy to rinse clean. Also has a little tray with holes for the bottom so your produce isn’t sitting in water pool. Very happy with this purchase.

Great for lettuce storage.
This holds two heads of romaine easily and keeps it fresh all week. No more messy plastic bags and brown icky lettuce.

Not dishwasher safe
After reviewing the details, this item is NOT dishwasher-safe. I missed that and put one of them in the dishwasher and it warped to the point of not being usable. Don’t want it to happen to someone else. Used it once and it seemed to work fine for my salad mix. I probably did get a couple extra days.
