These tools are great for installing window film! Except that I didn’t read the instructions and the blade kept falling out for three panes of glass! On the 3rd I finally realized you have to lift the metal top while twisting to tighten it on the blade. once tightened it worked much better and actually cut the tint! I’ve never installed tint without the kit, but after doing so…it seems that a box cutter and a spackel spreader wrapped in a t-shirt would also work. But for $5 it works well and will probably come in handy for other things (extra tool for opening Amazon boxes 😂).The razor is metal and comes with a box of extra blades, the big plastic with felt was fantastic, and the long one with the flat edge worked perfectly for smoothing the edges to avoid getting the felt wet when the water was pressed out. And I love that it all comes in a handy box. But pay attention to how it’s all arranged bc it only closes if you put it back exactly as it came ⚠️ another tip: cut the roll of window film with a saw before you open it so it’s the exact width of your window. That way you only have to trim the bottom. Trimming was the hardest partAs far as contents – I only used the 3 tools out of the box in the photo. And the other tools I already had. The flat scraper was perfect to make sure the window surface was extra clean. And scissors for cutting the bottom before trimming with the razor.
