Useful tool but smaller would be better.
This is a fancy tool for spreading and shaping caulk. It works well, but is more tool than one needs. It the ends which count, and the tool would be better it it were smaller. The size is at least twice what is needed to do the job.

I purchased this to redo the caulk around my apartment tub since maintenance wouldn’t be available for a while. This item was exactly what I needed to pull the old caulk off the tub. Not as easy to use and I figured. The plastic portion is too stiff to comb down the final stage. I ende dup using a plastic spoon instead and works better! To remove the old caulking, the blade-type part works. Just be careful not the damage your area. I ended up keeping this tool.

The adjustable caulk smoothing end is what I was really searching for, and it works like a dream. Having 3 different sizes makes sure you get the look your going for in the finished product. My novice handywork looked great to save me time and frustration. The scrapers work well enough, but those aren’t what i was seeking when I bought this product.

Wow – – this inexpensive item made caulking my shower much easier! And to think, all these years I’ve been using my finger to smooth out the caulk and a utility knife to remove the old caulk. The soft edges made quick work of finishing my caulk job and it was almost just once over with very little overspill. The blade for removing the old caulk worked great too.
