Amazing unit, price is what you might pay for just one item, this is a two in one!
I was pleasantly surprised when I got this box, and saw how big and heavy it was. Then I saw it was also a humidifier. I think it’s safe to say it’s more of a humidifier and air purifier rather than an air purifier with some humidity. It’s big! And it’s solid! I mean like stuff you buy isn’t like this anymore. It’s hard to describe, but check the dimensions. I thought they sent the wrong item, I got this on prime days and was excited thinking it was just an air purifier. I suffer with dry air in winter, so this could not have happened at a better time, to a better guy (hahaha). But seriously, this is working great. So many settings, has a hepa filter, carbon filter, and a UV light, Plus it does humidity into the air. What more could one want? it’s quiet, it looks good, and frankly, it’s doing the job. So, kudos to Daikin for making this and providing a good value for the money!

has all the sensors (and responsive) amazing performance and value
The build quality is top-notch, as you’d expect from a product made in japan, and the motor is remarkably quiet. Overall, a great product I highly recommend.I am extremely impressed with the Daikin air purifier. It has high air flow and its auto mode is very responsive, because it has BOTH odor (VOC) and particle sensors. This is a noticeable difference compared to other purifiers I’ve used that either has one or the other (daikin didn’t cheap out here!)The replacement filters are also very affordable, which is a major plus. I’ve found its performance to be on par, maybe even better for the price point, with my other major brand air purifiers. While it lacks app control, the excellent auto mode makes that a non-issue. The humidifier function is also a standout, it’s easy to clean and refill. It’s been keeping my allergies at bay in my bedroom and while it’s tall, the actual footprint is pretty small, but you do need to keep clearance on both sides and the front as that’s where the air intakes are.

    The real air purifier design
This is a serious air purifier from the leading HVAC company in the world. They design it as a back-filter unit like legacy design on Blueair (sad Blueair don’t do this way anymore), which prevent from saturated dust break through the filter and contaminate the outlet in a front-filter scenario, where most of the market cheap and toy companies’ common faulty design. They also come with a draft mesh screen to capture giant dust, which is washable. The indoor odor and air quality significant increase after you turn on for a little while. I keep it as constant on unit to improve indoor air quality and pollen control. The unit is made in Japan, but the filters are made in China done by contractor (as they disclose the out-sourced company name on their box), but the quality is still very good. The filters are much cheaper than Blueair and solid design. Coconut charcoal still come with light acid smell but much better than Blueair’s.

    Overall very satisfied
The product arrived on time and was very well packed. Everything works. The sensors for dusts, particles and smells are all very sensitive. This made me feel safe as I know whether my indoor air is truely good. The night mode is amazingly quiet. I now keep it on the whole night.Given the UV function, this price is really a gain!

    Worth every penny
Great air purifier. I bought one direct from the company 3 months ago and it does a great job. When looking for replacement filters on here I found the same model I already had. I bought 2 more. There are multiple quarries and cement mills near me, so dust is a huge problem, add in horrible allergies and air purifies are an absolute must. I’ve used smaller air purifiers in the past and the filters clogged up so fast. This unit has a fine mesh on 2 two sides that catches large particles before it has a chance to get to the replaceable filter. I vacum it several times a week. There is also a carbon fikter and UV light to kill germs. At 3 months I haven’t had to replace the hepa filter yet. The small ones I replaced every month if I got lucky. Also added bonus you can dim / turn off the indicator lights so I can run it all the time. I need dark to sleep so the old ones would get turned off at bed and hopefully if I remembered turned back on during the day.Just to update, bought 2 more for other rooms and am still very happy with the purchase. By far the best air purifier I’ve ever owned. We just replaced the HEPA filter for the 1st time after 6 months on the first unit we bought. There is a sensor that tells you when you need to replace it. I vacuum the outside air intakes several times a week, so I’m sure that helps.

Great product that does what it says it will do
Fantastic product. This product actually cleans the air. I deal with less allergies and the air quality in my home has gone up significantly.

Great product and well worth the money
We fell in love with these while traveling in Japan. I searched a comparable Japanese brand in the states for a while and landed on this one. Read and follow the instructions while you unwrap it and you will do just fine. Once you set it up, you just hit the Auto button and it does the rest. The sleep we had on the first night with this unit was phenomenal. I knew that it would make a difference but I am really impressed by how much it improved our night’s rest. We are in a very dry climate and it is winter. I told my spouse that this was the quietest night of sleeping with him that I can remember.
