This was so cute on our 4 year old cavachon. He is about 22 lbs and we ordered an xl. It fit him good, and he kept it on for the most part. Quality is good and price was good.

Good fit, HUGE cape!
I got the XXXL size for my 90lb Golden Retriever to wear when she greeted folks at the door on Halloween. The kids all loved it, with a couple even taking pictures with her. It fit pretty well, and didn’t bother her much once I made a couple of adjustments. She even wore it for a walk around the neighborhood before hand without much issue.She wore it for about four hours and rarely even pawed or bit at it. And usually when she did, it was the cape. So, there ARE a couple things to watch out for:1) The cape is held on by two very small velcro pads. There is very little holding the cape on. Also, because they are at the corners of the cap at the top, the top/middle of the cap floats a LOT. And there are some HUGE tags there that cause some problems. My advice is to remove the tags, and sew in three larger velcro strips (one at either corner and one in the middle2) The cape is HUGE! When she was walking, or just sitting, it looks fantastic! In the wind, it flows very dramatically and really sells. But otherwise, the cape is almost too large and ends up getting under foot very easily. I remedied that by using a safety pin towards the bottom of the cape to keep it centered on her back. You might be able to use velcro here as well. I haven’t tried it yet.Again, this is for the XXXL size. The smaller sizes may be fine. And even the XXXL size is fine with some fairly minor modification. And, it absolutely got the kids in the Halloween spirit. So completely worth it for me.We also got the WonderWoman outfit. We’ll try that one next year, I guess. Unless we find a good Marvel costume for her! 😉

Great for large dogs!
Great costume for our 112 lb German Shepherd. He’s tall with a large frame and it’s hard to find costumes that fit him. Ordered the XXXL and although a little snug, it worked. I also removed the sleeves with a seam ripper to be less restrictive on him. Quality is good for the price, easy to put on with Velcro closures. Having the cape attach with Velcro, too, was awesome because tie strings on other capes can rip off easily. Would recommend!

Cape was way too long
This was a good idea in theory but was way too large in reality.We were really excited for him to be Superman for Halloween and his sister was going to be Superwoman.My dog loves to wear costumes and clothing, sweatshirts and jackets. This one he was not a fan of at all. That Superman asses on the chest of the blue shirt so you don’t really get to see much of it. The shirt I would have loved if it was just a slip over shirt, but this velcroed all the way up the back. This means that the cape has to be on him in order to cover up a seam from neck to tail of Velcro.The Cape is a very very slippery material. And is extremely long. If you look in the picture and see him in it you would think that Cape does not look too bad. In reality that keep is folded in half underneath and taped to the inside of the back of the cape so that he could walk. So what you see in the picture in reality the Cape is double the length. We had him walk around the dining room living room area with the cape on taped and then we taped the cape underneath and had him do the same thing. There are only two points of Velcro that attached the cape to the blue shirt and they are a half inch by half inch square on either side of the shoulder. This was not enough velcro to keep the cape on. The cape kept detaching from the shirt due to the weight of the cape. He only had this on for less than 5 minutes so that we could try to figure out a way to save the costume so that him and his sister could be matching. In that short amount of time the cape started to fray at the seams and little slivers of threads of the silk material we’re laying around my living room floor.I did measure him and ordered per the measurements. This may be a great costume for a taller dog such as a Great Dane but for my 85 lb American Staffordshire Terrier it was not. We ended up having to return it, and he wore his costume from the year before

Nice quality. Easy to put on.
XX does not fit my Lab mix perfectly. It is tight across upper back but it is close enough and I can just add a little fabric as the cape will cover it.I loved the material as it feels durable and the blue part is stretchy. This Halloween, we will have a Super dog helping with candy!
