For my purposes, I’d say money well spent
Just recieved this today, earlier than expected. Everything is included and looks just like the picture. So far, nothing is coming loose, aside from the tape measure. Everything else fits properly and securely in their designated spots. I got this to fix a few things around the house this week. I suppose I will update after using it. It’s compact design is perfect for my limited storage space and the manufacturer even gave a little “gift”. So far, for my purposes, I’d say money well spent.

Three stars is rounding up – it’s really more like two and half
It’s kind of flimsy, but the biggest drawback is that the pieces don’t all really fit into their molded plastic nesting spots. As a result, every time I open it something falls out. Specifically the hammer and the screwdriver tips just will not stay put. And even though they constantly fall out, it’s also really not easy to get the racks of screwdriver tips back in where they’re supposed to go.It’s fine for very light household use and is ok for someone looking for an inexpensive kit that isn’t going to get heavy use. It is a slim case and doesn’t take up a lot of room. It would be reasonable for a dorm or apartment, again if it’s not getting a ton of use. We bought it as a supplement to our more heavy duty stuff so we wouldn’t have to get out the bigger, heavier tool box every time we needed something quickly for a small job. So we were able to move the bigger tool box to a less convenient utility closet which freed up a lot of room in the pantry/cleaning closet and we keep this one in there now just to have the basics close at hand. The biggest benefit for our household is having those basics in one kit where everything has a place (even if things do fall out of those places) so tools don’t get scattered and we don’t have to have a scavenger hunt before every small job.However, I don’t think it would stand up to a lot of regular use. All of the metal and plastic is pretty low quality. The price definitely reflects the quality. But, I was looking for something inexpensive and so far it suits my needs. I just have to be careful when opening it. If that minor hassle will bug you, just be aware it happens. For me it’s not enough to make me return or replace it, but it might drive some people batty.I can neither recommend it or recommend against it. It just depends on your needs and expectations.If we were able to give half stars I probably would give it two and a half.

Perfect First-Time Tool Kit
We purchased this for a soon-to-be college freshman for her dorm. She is thrilled! Loves that everything is together, the bright blue color (even though it’s not her college colors), and the amount and variety of tools included. I highly recommend this for anyone needing a useful/practical gift for someone starting out on their own.
