Lovely white velvet curtains
These winter white curtains are beautiful. They are soft, drape well and are as white as the driven snow. They will not block out light but they emit a soothing soft white “glow” when the sun shines through them.

The curtains arrived filthy, I believe they are used! Horribly wrinkled. They were in a weird plastic bag, not the manufacturer packaging at all!! Extremely unhappy and will be sending them back.

I purchased these because the curtains I wanted from Ikea were not in stock. I found these curtains on kolhs.com initially for $92 per panel… So, I was surprised to see that amazon sold the same curtains by the same company ( 2 panels) for $53. You can’t really see from the pictures… but these curtains have a really fake looking shinnyness to them. I can’t tell if it’s off-putting or not..They’re supposed to be velvet. Which they feel like velvet. They are just to shiny to be velvet. I was expecting a more matte curtain. I’m going to try and steam out the wrinkles and get a good look at them during the natural afternoon daylight. I’ve only seen them at night after work or early in the am..I’ll report back within the week.

Very Thin Curtains
Purchased the winter white it is as shown (not a bright white, not quite cream). It is slightly shiny and very thin (I have a light green color curtain behind it and you can see it) would not purchase again. (Also purchased and returned the Navy because it looked cheap the color was definitely not Navy – it was lighter.)

Expected thicker fabric by description
They are soft and very white. No funky smell either which I was happy about. I was expecting more of a light blocker and they are thin. Photo showed a white lining but it’s not really a lining fabric backing but actually its only the reverse poly of the fabric. Fabris is soft, but I was expecting thicker and heavy. Kinda disappointed, but then again you get what you pay for.

Not blackout. But love the fabric.
So…. these are in NO WAY blackout. I would say light filtering. But, the fabric is super soft and pretty. On the thinner side. I didn’t want anything too heavy so it works for me. I bought for kids rooms. White and Blush.
