Lovely for a good price

Great curtain rod. Easy to install and has held up well over the last 2 months. It does make the wall look a little “busy” when the curtains are open with all the overlapping metal (especially where the rod extender joints connect) but that’s to be expected with two rods.

Look nice and easy to mount
This is a lovely set of rods, which comes at the described length and looks like the photos. They are well coated and give a nice appearance to the windows. They came with all hardware necessary for hanging and some extra for various possibilities too. My only complaint lies in the wall mounts. These are, in general, totally okay and work fine. However, when we hung the heavier curtains, the mounts bend with time. We did end up purchasing others, which were more sturdy and could handle the weight. But otherwise, these are lovely.

Love the gun metal color
It took me awhile to find this aged silver color. I think they describe it as gun metal. Most I was finding was shiny or brushed silver and I needed something more rustic. Easy to put up, too. Directions weren’t very good, but it is pretty easy to figure out how to put it up. I did think it sticks away from the wall pretty far and the curtain rods could be closer, but it still looks great in my room. Sturdiness and functionality are good.

Inferior packaging
I have purchased 7 of these double rods so far. Looking at the boxes all torn to shreds on every shipment, I was shocked that the rods inside and the packages of mounting hardware were still intact. The carboard box the manufacturer puts on the rods is flimsy and not strong enough for shipping, but they slap a shipping label on the box and send it. I got 2 last week that were the same, the 3 I received today so far were worse than the first shipment, one of the boxes was actually in two pieces. They had tape on top of tape covering rips in the boxes. I would use caution buying these and expect destroyed shipping boxes.Regarding the rods themselves, they are very nice. They are sturdy, the mounting brackets are heavy and strong, and the bag of screws and hollow wall anchors work well. They are easy to put up alone, two people would of course make the job easy, but it is simple. They work well, support a heavy drape and a sheer curtain easily. I like them, that’s why I ordered more for this shipment, but inspect them carefully for damage because they went too cheap on the box they ship them in.

Bad for large windows.
I should have trusted my gut when I bought this because I was worried it wasn’t going to be sturdy enough but I took a chance on it and lost.The rods are very delicate and thin, they bow under the weight of curtains and the curtains get caught on the telescoping sections when you try to draw them and end up pulling the rods out of place.Mounting hardware is inadequate and bracket pulled out of my wall after the first 5 days of use.Gold finish scratches off very easily, my drapes being drawn back removed finish.This rod would probably be fine for sheers that are not drawn and on a small width window but was absolutely nonfunctional for me.

Poor quality. Got the one in gold and the gold paint on the knobs was already chipped when it arrived. Kept it anyway since it was inexpensive, wish I didn’t. For a double curtain rod, it doesn’t seem strong enough to hold two curtains without the bracket bending. We constantly bend the bracket back manually so the curtains don’t sag. Maybe if we had super sheer, light curtains but we are using black out curtains like most people would with a double curtain rod.
