Lovely for a good price
I recently purchased these black double curtain rods, and I absolutely love them. The rods are great, they do almost exactly what I expected them to do. Yay! I have a sheer sheet on one road and a thermal curtain on the other and the rod seems sturdy. Sometimes when I move the curtain to the side, the narrower rod slides out of the outer rod; the seam doesn’t have anything preventing it from reverse-telescoping except a little piece of plastic that isn’t snug.One major complaint, however, is the drywall anchors; they are garbage. They’re not tapered/threaded the way that usual plastic anchors are, allowing them to tap/screw into the drywall. I had to drill a hole large enough for them to fit within, and they easily bent when I tried tapping/pressing them in, and a few of them ended up just pushing straight THROUGH the drywall making giant holes. Toss the anchors and use some from Lowe’s.

The small white piece used to fix the bulb arrived broken. It probably happened during delivery. I threw away that small piece and used regular tape instead. It worked. Since I like how the product looks in my living room, I didn’t take off any stars. Definitely five stars.

Item was ok but I have relatively light curtains, wouldn’t hold a heavy curtain. I received 2 of the 3 rods and am still waiting on the 3 rd rod as my project sits incomplete.

Nursery lifesaver
What I liked about this: It works great! We were able to install it without a hitch. We use it in our son’s room and it holds up 1 blackout curtain on the back rod and 2 cute curtains on the front rod without a problem. This comes in handy when you want to double up on room darkening curtains or if you want your room to be dark but can’t find cute blackout curtains that you like. This double curtain rod allows you to use the functional blackout curtains and the cute curtains at the same time:)I would definitely recommend this to all parents who value dark rooms during naptime and cute curtains all the time.

Poor quality. Got the one in gold and the gold paint on the knobs was already chipped when it arrived. Kept it anyway since it was inexpensive, wish I didn’t. For a double curtain rod, it doesn’t seem strong enough to hold two curtains without the bracket bending. We constantly bend the bracket back manually so the curtains don’t sag. Maybe if we had super sheer, light curtains but we are using black out curtains like most people would with a double curtain rod.
