Great for organizing or displaying mostly flat jewelry and accessories
Most of what I have to say about this is good, but I’ll start off by saying that if you’re looking to buy many of these, the distance of the buckles varies from piece to piece, so don’t expect them to be uniform in their distance from the edge, though they’re still pretty centered. Other thing, mind the height. That probably won’t be a problem for most people though.So, the good stuff– I bought two of these, and both came intact, with no issues with the glass. I use them to store my ridiculous amount of hair sticks, but they would also be great for statement necklaces that don’t fold well or otherwise are just difficult to store in an appealing way. Don’t get me wrong– it does feel very fancy to use something like this, but in many ways, it ends up being the most (or sometimes, only) practical choice. I have a lot of… we’ll say, unique hair accessories, and I’d crafted a temporary solution myself, but this is undeniably better. I may get more of these for some of my soutache necklaces in the future, which is what I originally wanted this for, but it just works so well for the hair sticks that they’re getting ’em for now.Anyway, this is perfect for those more delicate or oddly-shaped, relatively flat but not necessarily flexible things that you’re reluctant to consign to a tray that doesn’t have a cover. And like I said, it does look fancy.

Great for storage purposes!
I bought two of these to lay my necklaces inside since I don’t like leaving them in boxes where they can’t be seen, and I don’t want to hang them on a wall or jewelry hook because they get tangled and dusty. These cases allow me to view what I want to wear while protecting the items from dust and debris. I wish they had a tarnish-preventing interior, but as far as storage goes, these will work great! I would not use these for travel due to the fact that items would slide all over inside and tangle, and the glass would most likely break. The materials are OK – the vinyl/paper finish on the sides and top is bubbled, and I can see how this might get worse over time. I like that the lid is attached, but I also have ones that the lids come off completely, so I am not sure yet which I would prefer. I plan to stack these cases in a drawer, so hopefully, the bubbling won’t increase, and the frames will hold up. Of course, I wish they were cheaper, but I think they will serve my purpose. I may buy more for earrings and bracelets!
