Silky, Quality Made
I purchased this pillowcase in a dark purple and it is very rich in color. It has a button closure across the back and a very silky material. We use this on decorative pillows in a room that does not get slept in much, so I am not sure as far as the durability and fade when it comes to regular washing. This fit very snugly on a Euro pillow insert one size up. The fabric had no smell up on opening. The design around the pillows are floppy, there is nothing keeping them stiff like in the photo. In person, it looks completely fine, but I feel it is noticeable in photos.

The shams are slightly large but still very good quality, soft & the burnt orage color is spot on (exactly as represented). I washed them in delicate cold cycle & placed in dryer & they came out perfect & no shrinkage; although i hoped that they would have shrinked a litlle (alas, it didn’t happen).

I messed up – but so did this product brand. I mistakenly ordered these shams in Queen for the only standard size pillows in my collection of 6 (which were ALL supposed to be Queen sized pillows). And unfortunately, because I’ve just moved into a new home and have nothing else to put on my pillows, I have to keep these. I purchased 6 Queen pillows for my new bed, and thus made a point of ordering 4 Queen sized shams & 1 set of pillowcases. Only 1 set of shams were from this brand (ordered them specifically for their teal color). I also ordered 2 Queen sized pillow cases in the same color for my pillows that actually ARE queen size pillows. Those were sent to me mistakenly in a Standard size (again, by THIS brand)!Also… Most shams are made to fit very tightly because that’s how they should fit, but I can tell you that even if I used these shams on my Queen size pillows, they would be too large.Good things: The fabric is quite soft (but I believe we’ll have a tendency to pill) and the envelope opening comes with buttons to keep them closed (which is good, because they are way too large). They are very lightweight, but Summer is upon us, so that’s okay. The fabric is pretty and silky.For me, there was no value in this purchase simply because of the mistakes I made with this and the mistakes made by this brand with 2 different products.In the end, I ended up with 6 pillows that are terribly mismatched with their covers (I received two shams from another brand in a different color that were so tight they barely fit).This pillow sham should not pay for my own mistake, so I’m awarding 3 stars for the fact that it’s a nice sham other than being oversized even for a Queen pillow.. I can’t return them because I need something on my pillows as this was sort of an emergency purchase, but I won’t reorder them in standard size because these are so big even for a Queen sham.Now to rate the Standard size pillow cases they sent (I ordered Queen) for my actual queen size pillows…And so my adventures in moving continue. 🙄😢
