I have been wanting a forest scented candle for so long but not wanting to upset my cat with scents that are overpowering or toxic, if it’s in the air it’s on the fur and it’s ingested. So I bought the small ones to just try out and see if we even like the scent. These are bigger than a tea light and in the bubble wrap bag they came in I could smell them. I have one in the bathroom that I haven’t lit and the small space smells like a forest. I light one in the living room and the fragrance is strong enough to fill the room and bedroom without gagging. When the candle is put out the scent is still lightly present for about 3 hours so long as the candle was lit enough to melt the upper portion of the wax.All in all love it. Good for holiday tree fragrance or just wanting fairycore forest. Price is good for myself and the knowledge that it covers up litterbox smells but is safe for fur babies.

Safe for birds and smell SO GOOD
I got my husband a green-cheek conure last year for Christmas, and while I am so happy he loves that dang little bird so much, I had to get rid of non-stick pans, a bunch of household cleaners, and most depressingly, my candles. I have been on the hunt for bird safe candles since then, but the only ones I can find are way too expensive for a candle. Birds can only be around candles that have paraffin-free wax and lead-free wicks. I saw this brand at a local feed store but the label didn’t say specifically what the wick was made of. I did some research and came to find that I HAD DONE IT! I HAD FOUND A CANDLE THAT WON’T KILL THE BIRD. So I ordered these bad boys and three days later, I got them. I ripped that puppy open like a wild person (ok, it’s fall and I don’t have any pumpkin candles so I was eager), popped the lids off and they all smell SO GOOD. I got the pack with the 3 different fall scents. I burned one today and my whole kitchen smells like delicious apple cider AND the bird is still vertical.As far as scent goes for those who are wondering:Falling Leaves- Smells like pine with a sweet undertonePumpkin Spice- Smells like I wanna eat it; sweet pumpkin smell, but not fake/overwhelmingApple Cider- Smells just like apple ciderNone of these scents smell fake or overwhelming (I used to get headaches from a lot of candles).They are a little pricey for the bigger ones, but I love them and will definitely be ordering more!

Smell amazing!
They smell great I only took one star off because unfortunately the candles and the package they were in was covered in a slimy substance, I can’t tell what it is but it smells very fragrant so I don’t know if maybe something got on them during packaging but it’s definitely not from the candles. It was a little gross to open a package that is all slimy.I love that they are non toxic and good for pet homes 😇 excited to see them in action!

Fresh Citrus = Island Margarita by BBW
I bought these to travel with – my relative who I’m staying with has a small dog who is mostly well-trained but it still just smells like dog in the house. I worked at Bath & BodyWorks for years and Fresh Citrus is basically Island Margarita, just slightly lighter.The Lavender is a nice *natural* lavender scent, so it has a little bit of that spicy element to it but it’s not overpowering like some lavender scents. It’s a little powdery & slightly sweet.The Sunwashed Cotton is similar to old-school Sea Island Cotton – but without as much of the sickly-sweet smell that always gave me a headache. It’s like if you mixed a toned-down version of Sea Island Cotton with laundry detergent. I hated SIC, so I didn’t buy this set for that scent, but it’s not awful. I think a lot of people would like it. If you ever tried the odor neutralizing spray BBW briefly had, it smells like the linen version of that.These are nice, I’m buying another set to try out more & buying more of the Fresh Citrus scent. They’re like an 8 for smell strength if a normal BBW candle is a 10. Great for a bedroom but not overpowering. Definitely make a difference. Just be careful while burning them – BBW got sued over their plastic tealight candles that could catch fire. These pet candles have plastic too holders. 999 times out of 1,000 they’re probably be fine but I’d put them in a larger candle holder or just never leave them alone to be on the safe side. We gave out so many free candle holders because of that issue.

Don’t make a bad situation worse.
These just smelled really bad. I, personally, couldn’t stomach them. I can’t really rate them on their ability to eliminate odor because I barely got them out of the packaging before deciding to throw them in the trash because they stunk. The overpowering strength of these “mini candles” reminded me of what it feels like to stand next to someone who uses so much fabric softener that it makes your nose itch and your eyes burn to be near them. Also, I’m not sure that trying to use one stench to mask another, is ever a good game plan. Take for instance, the women who smoke a cig on the way to work in the morning and then spray themselves down with perfume before walking into the office. These women don’t smell glorious, they smell like cigarette smoke and cheap perfume. In short, these are advertised as pet odor eliminators, but I think I’d rather smell the pet odor.

Has a nice, subtle scent
I am fussy about scents, so I was surprised that I liked all three of these scents in this pack. I find that they do a good job of creating a soft scent that covers the underlying smells of pets but is not overpowering in itself. I have used these in rooms where I have a lot of dog beds and toys, and it does seem to help, but nothing helps more than washing the dog bed covers. Still, I would recommend this set to give a few scents a try. Then you can decide if you want to order one in a larger size. I will do that eventually, I just have to decide which of these three scents I like best because I like them all.

I out one and the smell was horrible. Then I found as it melted it spilt over the top. I had to wait until it re solidified before despising of it and clearing out all traces of the smell

Not worth it! Regret buying. Uneven burning. Burn half way. Should have stick to my usual candle Pet’s Favourite.
