    It really works!!
I don’t usually buy “as seen on tv” products. I bought this as sort of a gag gift for my wife for christmas, because our spice cupboard is a problem. I rate this 5 stars, because only 5 stars gets peoples attention. Its actually a 4 star. This works perfect with “Spice Islands” “McCormicks” and the Safeway Organics (square bottles).Yes it feels a little flimsy, but if you use it correctly (open it fully and close it fully) it is sturdy enough for the job. So construction is what reduces it by one star. It’s storage is a little awkward. It can’t be on the side on the cupboard. It needs a little swing space with no obstructions, at least and inch and a half from a wall.Have fun!

    Love, Love, Love it!
I was very skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but figured I’d try it for myself. I absolutely LOVE this product. It unclutters my cabinets, and organizes all my spices. It holds the average sized containers and small ones. It will not hold the large ones but who cares? I can store my larges ones beside the swivel store and fill my smaller bottles and store IN the swivel store. Well worth the price (and I have had mine about a year and just bought another one)

Did exactly what I wanted, but knew this was not a Superior quality product when I ordered it.
Review by Mrs. JD, It is very easy to use, having said that, there is not a hole on the bottom specifically to screw this to the cabinet shelf. Does not glide well, the directions even say to hold the base in place when pulling out a tray. I would screw through it anyway but I don’t think the plastic would hold up, more likely to crack and or break. Does help very much to keep my spice bottles from falling into the trash can when trying to reach one in the back of the cabinet.Does not hold oversize bottles, maybe a one inch max width.Overall I am OK giving this 4 stars as it is exactly what I expected. I don’t expect it to last more than a few years so durability is 2 stars. As the plastic is of low grade, I am not likely going to give this as a gift.

    Good enough storage for spices.
One of the roommates got fed up with the state of our spice cabinet and ordered one of these. I liked the way it worked enough to buy another. I like the unit, it does more or less everything it is supposed to, but does have some failings (which I’ll get to shortly). The unit holds almost as many spice jars as you could get into the same space with stacking, without the nightmare of trying to find something. Assuming you’re using the tiny style of spice bottles (like the standard fare at supermarkets), you should be able to hold 4-6 bottles per row, 16-24 total. The slide out features does work, though it will stick sometimes, especially if you’re pulling hard. This can cause the whole unit to pull out of your cabinet if you aren’t careful as there is no retention mechanism for keeping it in place, other than tiny rubber feet. The sticking is not unexpected for an all plastic unit, and nothing that a bit of NSF grade silicone lubricant can’t fix. Velcro is a good solution for keeping it in cabinet, but making it able to be taken out for cleaning. This unit needs SPACE on both sides . Don’t expect to buy a bunch of these and stuff em all into one shelf and have them work. They absolutely will NOT work if they are directly up against a cabinet wall or even another one of these units. The action of pulling out will work, but the swivel will not. They need a couple of inches clearance (really more like one inch) next to the front where the swivel happens. This means they cause some dead space in the cabinet.Overall this is an ok product with some glaring flaws that are more or less easily fixed or overlooked. Typical from an ‘as seen on tv’ product which was probably quickly kicked out the door to sell without very much testing. It works and is cheap enough that I can ignore the things I had to modify.

    These are great! 😀
I understand what the other person said about actually needing more than the recommended space to work properly; it is true they will not swivel with out extra room on the sides, but honestly, you don’t really need them to swivel. I use mine everyday and I never try to swivel it. i just pull it out, get the spice I need without swiveling and Im perfectly happy with it! It’s WAYYY better than having 40 spices in the cabinet and taking them all out to find the one you want. Really awesome I have two of them. Only con is that they don’t accomodate tall or large sized spices.

    Great, great, great system
Some folks have complained that these are “cheap plastic” but I have no issue with that at all. I have THREE in my cupboard right now, keeping my spices organized (alphabetized) and easily found whenever I want them. No more digging around in the shelf looking for the marjoram – I know right where it is. And once you have it filled about half-way, the weight of the spice jars really holds it in place. It’s got rubber feet on the bottom, to keep it from moving around the shelf.I was wary because of the negative reviews I’d read but I bought ONE, just to see if I liked it. After I realized how happy I was with it, I bought 3 more. I’m only using 2 of the 3 additional ones because I over-estimated how many more bottles of spices I had, but now I’ve got a spare for when I start mixing my own spice blends!

Not the same as another Swivel Store I have
My daughter gave me a Swivel Store. I had too many spice bottles for just one, so I needed another and I bought this one. It turns out that it is not the same as the one I currently have. The plastic is flimsier and cheaper. It does not swivel as smoothly. It is slightly narrower, so the bottles that fit in one do not fit in the other. The first one I have had metal liners for the shelves, making them heavier and more secure. Both of these items came in boxes that are the same, but the products are not. I would NOT recommend this one!
