Works with my 19 year-old SONY Bravia TV !
Setup was very easy for me. Bluetooth connectivity great with sound from my 1984 iPad and HP computer (great range). The optical connection has a signal (red light from the TV) but, because of the age of the TV and configuration of the optical, the signal just produces noise as there are no choices on the TV menu for optical only or pass thru.SONY products always come with multiple in and out ports so the AUX works GREAT with the sound bar.I leave the sound on from the TV speakers and get a very nice slight ECHO effect which I like.Almost like a theater mode.Best of all I get a good range of TREBLE and the BASE sound from the sound bar is what I enjoy the most.Playing music from my TV connected to Amazon Fire Stick and Smooth Jazz from iHeart Radio (& switching the Bravia’s picture to the power saveing mode (blank picture)) I have a whole new entertainment system !Good going Assistrust !!EDIT: Additional commentI omitted an important option for the setup…the ability to join the left and right speakers for horizontal use..OR.. using the left and right speakers separated and standing vertical.For me, that vertical separation and use was a GAMECHANGER !Really good separation of the stereo sound!!!

You reallyCan not beat this price. Unit comes with stereo cable, digital audio cable, and hdmi. Unit is capable of earc. Paired with Samsung and Apple TV streaming YouTube tv. Sound is loud and kind of unbalanced. Totally maxed out the volume it it was actually fine. This unit will be used in a small dorm or bedroom setting. Low volume and you can hear dialogue fine. Impressed buy the heft and how solid the speakers are. I actually love the idea of seperating the speakers. It was too long for my purpose. I do not have. The tv on a console. My main complaints. Remote didn’t come with batteries. The power brick is huge. Glaring red circle for standby and a warning orange light when using hdmi. I had to trouble shoot this unit with my setup. YouTube tv. 1. Huge delay in sound and didn’t sync. Samsung let me increase it to max of 250. Fixed. 2. YouTube tv. When changing the channel. Sound stopped. It comes back when either switching out of YouTube tv or shutting system down. Fixed by going to Apple TV audio setting and changing audio format to stereo. Take it off Dolby 5.1. Fixed the issue. I was seriously about to return this unit. Overall I’m actually quite pleased for an affordable unit and it’s actually quite solid.

Phenomenal customer service!!!!
After connecting this to my TV, I had no sound. After troubleshooting and determining it wasn’t working, I sent an email to their warranty department at 9:50pm on Saturday. I got a reply less than an hour later, and after a couple of back-and-forth emails, I had a promise to send me a new one and I didn’t have to return the defective one. The replacement arrived at 7pm on Sunday!Getting a defective product is annoying, but it happens. The speed and courtesy of their customer service more than made up for it. I wasn’t expecting a reply to my original email before Monday, but less than 24 hours after initiating a complaint on a weekend, I had the replacement in hand.The sound bar itself is a decent basic unit, and a great value for the price. It won’t do Dolby or surround–if you want those features at this price point, you probably want a unicorn too–but it serves as a good upgrade to standard TV speakers. The ability to separate it into two tower speakers is nice, too, though the cable between them won’t reach to the sides of anything larger than a 65″ TV.
