does what is advertised
it is as adveritsed. i will say that my apt porch has a light out front and so it does have a light that turns on inside but its too bright to shine on the ground as advertised. but htats only because its too bright where i hung it. but it still turns on. and the design is still really pretty. I dont know how to take out the battery and replace if needed. i really dont know why one would be needed. the solar panel should be rechargable by sun?? maybe idk how solar panels work. but idk how to take it apart to find the battery. so i gotta ask seller if they can tell me how to do that. But over all its a great value for money. and size is perfect. As others have said its nowhere near bright enough to walk around with at night but its pretty for decoration. 🙂

Pretty Little lantern!
This lantern is very pretty. The quality is good and the cutouts are great. My only criticism is it is not as bright as it depicts. However that might be because I am having a place where it gets bright sunlight all day. I still like it!

HELP PLEASE? HOW DO I KNOW THE SWITCH IS ON OR OFF?
Can anyone help me please? The directions say to toggle the switch and remove the film covering from the solar panel of the lantern and then put that covering back!? It worked the first night and now I cannot figure out if the switch is on or off or what to do to make it work. Did anyone else have trouble with the directions not making sense please?? I wish I could speak to someone about the unclear directions as all the other reviews seems like it worked okay with no issues???

Excellent, solar light, beautiful sunflower design
I love my solar lamp. I loved it so much. I bought two! One for me and one for my best friend. I actually added mine to a birdfeeder. I have out in my yard to add a little bit of light to it. It looks fantastic.

Nice Concept, Very Poorly Made
I placed the lantern in direct sun for 8 or 9 hours set to OFF before using it at night. The coppery cage is really cool, and the images projected the first night I used it looked really peaceful. But the next night, after being in the sun for 8-10 hours again, the light was less bright. Rinse, Repeat, after four days the internal light and/or solar battery was completely dead.
