So easy to assemble & use, my kids can do it, which is entirely the point! The head locks into place, making it strong & sturdy. The pole stretches out to about 6′ in length, making it great for those higher pictures or fans. Makes cleaning easy & fun. Very effective, it holds all the dust in. A great value for the money.

Light, long and works well for short or semi-handicapped person.
Short person’s best friend in cleaning – light and does trap dirt well. I put the duster in the wash together with other rags and am able to get more use out of it. The other complaints about the handle retracting is true but I find that because I cannot apply too much pressure on it, it does not retract as much with me. And if it does, I would just put masking or duct tape on the handle joint. I use it to dust walls as well and works well.

Tackels ceiling fans much more easily!
I have 4 ceiling fans (84″ Home Decorators from Home Depot, fans that actually move air!) and this Swiffer Extender makes cleaning them SO much easier! I don’t need the step ladder! I cleaned them very well with some cleaner and water, then the next week I used these on each blade. Wow! I didn’t know how much “stuff” collected on fan blades in just a week! This is totally worth it for the price, the ability to reach and safely to clean those hard to reach corner cobwebs. I’d recommend this highly.

Swiffer duster, dust busted! Fail
Compared to my old swiffer duster. I would choose the old one. This one moves around too much. When I first got it, the dusters didn’t open up from just shaking. I had to physically open them. No biggie. But when I was trying to clean my ceiling fan the duster kept moving around it was a complete pain. If you get too much dust on one side it won’t pick more, everything comes off, on the bed and dust everywhere. This a return for me.
