Disappointed…
I got these to give as a gift and was let down by the poor quality. To start- they come in multiple pieces. There are two rods, one if which has a black stake at the bottom, and the other has the solar battery attached. One rod is placed into the other and the light decoration twists on top. Be sure to use a light hand when assembling, as the solar batteries and decorative lights are extremely fragile. Also, be careful when handling them after they’re assembled. The rods don’t securely connect, and just fall apart. My sun came with 3 ray broken off, but all were in the bag so I was able to glue them back on. All of that said, all 3 do light up at dark and they give off a nice warm glow. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend these be given as a gift, but if you really love the theme, these do work, just don’t expect solid construction and great, lasting quality.

Failed after less than 6 months outdoors
Great looking product. Kept finish even in the bright sun for hours a day. Unfortunately I noticed this light was out towards the end of the season and I just assumed the battery was bad. I ordered new batteries to install once spring came and I was going to put all my lights out. I just got to it this week and when I noticed that this was the light that wasn’t working I took it in and opened it up to change the battery and all I saw was rust everywhere and the rust had eaten away at the wires so that they were broken away from the solder points on the circuit board. Obviously even though advertised as waterproof, this wasn’t the case. Now I am out money after less than 6 months of use. By the way, the return window is only one month from purchase so there is that. This is now going in the garbage because it’s useless. I do not recommend this brand based on what happened to me.

Was happy when I got an email from Amazon suggesting these solar lights. Bought immediately. Was pretty surprised how tiny they are.Still nice though but wouldn’t buy again.
