    Love this tool
I have purchased a few other pruning shears over the last few years, and I believe this is the best. It cuts cleanly with very little effort. The other pruners need a little extra force to cut 1/4″ branches, etc. They also seem to shake a little during the cutting process. These shears, on the other hand, cut the 1/4″ branches just as easily as the smaller branches. The price is in the range of the other shears, but the cutting is superior.

They’re sharp but you need a lanyard to prevent them from dropping
these are very sharp and I like them. I do recommend that ‘you’ make the hole in the handle just a bit bigger. the clippers tend to slip out of my hand at times. i tried to put in a squid for a lanyard. the hole is too small for it.

    Well built
Best hand pruner I’ve owned. It is well built. Blade is sharp and doesn’t bend like others. Tough and adjustable. If the branch is hard to cut, and you have the strength, it will cut it. Because it’s anvil style the blade doesn’t bend and cuts clean. My wife says it’s easier and faster.

    Great for cutting dead/dry branches!
I found this anvil pruner online while searching for a replacement. I loved the professional look, so I decided to give it a try. This tool is SLICK! What a clean cut! I just completed 3.5 hours of Spring pruning to clear out the dead/dry branches and stems in my yard and I really enjoyed using it – my palms don’t hurt, my wrists don’t ache and I feel like my pruning looks like it was done by a pro. Very lightweight and comfortable to use. Another cool feature – the tool can easily adjust to accommodate different hand sizes, so my 80 yr old mom/gardener was able to try it out for a few snips and had no issues being able to make a clean cut. I feel like this was a great purchase.

    Plastic part failed-poor design.
Great product out of the box… the one aspect of the design completely ignored in description, etc. is the plastic cutting surface of the ‘anvil’ against which the blade presses to cut. One year on and I’m looking for a replacement today because the plastic has failed; it also appears to not be replaceable even though the design seems to allow it.

    Professional Grade pruning shears
This particular model pruning shear is sharp, with large capacity. Locking feature with adjustment lever built into the handle makes for the perfect shears for professionals and home use alike. Love this set so much I am ordering another pair as back-up in case I misplace this set.

    very good for older hands
easy to use for older hands, like mine that have carpal tunnel. Very easy to cut large limbs, nice blade, easily sharpened.very comfortable, good value

    Good Quality
When hubby says he likes it I know I have a winner! Compared to other clippers I have purchased it ranks #1.
