I love this lock! It was pretty easy to install, and now I don’t have to worry about carrying my keys all the time. The fingerprint feature works really well, and the app makes it super easy to lock and unlock the door remotely. Plus, it looks really nice on my door—very sleek and modern.

It comes with everything we need to upgrade the old entry door lock. Installing the lock and handle did require some work, and setting up finger prints also took time. The design is elegant and the smart lock is much more secure but with easy finger-print access. It’s more expensive than regular locks but worth the the safety.

It’s decent, needs work
This is a nice door handle with a decent “smart” lock. I use quotes because for a smart lock, it’s only smart in certain circumstances. For instance, if you unlock the door with the key, or by simply turning the lock on the inside, as far as the lock electronics are concerned, it’s still locked. This is a problem especially if you use the magnetic door sensor or autolock because it will not trigger the lock, since it thinks it’s still locked. That is a definite oversight and safety issue. Even the cheapest electronic locks know when they’re locked, and unlocked. To remedy this, they could add a positioning sensor, and the issue would be resolved. Instead, if you use the dedicated lock/unlock button, or use fingerprint, code or IC card, the brain box knows the door is locked or unlocked and will autolock, but in my experience, only withe the magnetic door sensor.Not everyone is going to remember to use the dedicated button when exiting the house, and that is a fairly serious safety concern. If that is fixed, this will be a solid smart lock option. Additionally, the instructions are vague and unclear, and makes no mention of the obscure “Anti-lock” switch and what it’s function is, which I’ve tried to figure out, to zero success.The material used, is very good and quite robust, so construction is of little concern. Everything fits together nicely and is fairly straightforward to install, even if the instructions are awful and in very broken English which includes phrases and words that make absolutely no sense.I do recommend using the magnetic door sensor, since the timed auto locking feature doesn’t seem to work.In it’s current state, I do not recommend it, but if they fix the aforementioned issues, it’d be an excellent option.
