Good buy
Using this on a very large piece of property to relay internet as a wired AP. Signal strength is awesome. Setup was easy. Good functionality in the Web UI. Speeds are as expected for WIFI6. My only complaint is that mounting it to the wall was a PAIN! Trying to get it straight was rough.

Excellent product overall.
Great range and signal strength even at medium power I am getting 200′ line of sight full signal.I have it mounted to a 2″ post, using the included metal straps it moved around quite a bit but will not fall off. Probably change over to outdoor rated zip ties. Set up wasn’t to bad. Wavelink has limited options in the interface, if using as a stand alone device there is nothing to tell you what devices are connected nor how many devices are connected, have to rely on the masted router to see the devices that are connected. Only works as a mesh device with other Waveling devices!

Nice for long distance solar cameras
I have a lake front house in Arkansas, I got many Wansview cameras, I wanted to have cameras on my dock about 75 yards away …I got a Wansview B7 solar camera and this Wavlink ax 3000 AP …NICE

Not reliable -Might work for 6mo or less
TLDR – has great range when it works but died in less than 6mos of use. Not reliable -Might work for 6mo or lessBought this and the WAVLINK AX1800 Outdoor in Nov 2024 for the deer lease and set them up in Dec 2024 when I received my Starlink router. The setup is not that great, but being in IT for over 20 years I got it working. The range is great WHEN IT WORKS. I have one mounted on 1 side of our camp and the other on the other side. I could not get the “mesh” to work so not the end of the world just 2 different SSIDs (technically 4 2.4g and 5g). The WAVLINK AX3000 would go offline for days until somebody was out at there to reset it by unplugging the POE+ switch I installed so we didnt have to use the cheap poe it comes with. I ran 2 underground ethernet cables to each for redundancy and have even swapped their positions to make sure it was just the WAVLINK AX3000.Why writing this review? The WAVLINK AX1800 is now flaking out and I wish I would have read more reviews and Good luck trying their support

Excellent product.
My renters use it in the rent house 50 yards away for TV, phones & such.I have over 200mb more than100 yards away. Line of sight, of course. I’ll be installing outdoor solar cameras soon to give it a real test.

I used it for cameras WYZE but
It does GO the distance. Very easy to install and run… But internet quality doesnt feel is there. Meaning I have 4 WYZE cameras at distance 80feet and they lag, feels slow recording. Unless theres a setting. 2.4

Provides very respectable coverage at campgrounds.
Works great at the campgrounds with weak WIFI. I first tried a less expensive model that plugged into a wall outlet which worked fine for residential use but did not have the range for campground use. I bit the bullet and ordered this one and it works great. Relatively easy to set up for a non techy guy like me. Very happy with performance of this extender.

Reichweite ist sehr gut. Auf dem Dach am Schornstein befestigt, decke ich damit ca. 3600qm Gelände inkl. Haus im inneren ab.Habe OpenWRT darauf geflasht und somit auch VLAN und alle anderen Annehmlichkeiten. Derzeit gibt leider noch keine fertige Firmware und man muss sich das selber basteln. Ist aber schon ein PR vorhanden und kommt wohl demnächst mit rein. Großartiges Gerät!

Es una pena que este modelo, a pesar de ser tan similar al de color blanco, tenga una tecnología significativamente inferior. Al comparar ambos dispositivos y medir su alcance, este modelo camuflado no logró ni la mitad de la distancia que alcanza el modelo blanco. La diferencia en rendimiento es notable y decepcionante.

Ich habe diesen Artikel als Ersatz für ein älteres Modell des gleichen Berstellers gekauft, der nach ca 5 Jahren leider den Geist aufgegeben hatte.Um es kurz zu machen: ein Riesenunterschied! Die Reichweite ist beeindruckend und mehr als doppelt so weit als beim alten Modell.Die Einrichtung via Web-Oberfläche ist kinderleicht und in wenigen Minuten erledigt.Man sollte die Größe nicht unterschätzen – je nach Montageort, denn das Teil ist ein echtes Monster!Klare 5***** und 👍 für den Kauf!
