    Best Looking Thermostat EVER!!!
I had purchased a previous version of the Nest Thermostat (3rd Gen) and had issues with it holding a charge and connecting with Wi-Fi. So I returned the older model and splurged for the latest version in the Gold finish. OMG! I am still blown away at how amazing it looks. The mirror finish is stunning and its very easy to read when the dial turns on.Installation was actually easier than the 3rd Generation model (which was pretty easy) and set up was done in about 10 minutes. It connected to my Wi-Fi immediately and did a quick software update. The remote temperature sensor was added in less than 5 minutes. I travel a LOT for work and having total control of the HVAC system through the Google Home app is easy and I can see both the t-stat and the sensor in the bedroom. You may think that I have been bribed or compensated by Google, but you would be wrong. I simply want everyone to know that this is a very high quality product that looks amazing and WORKS.

No C-wire needed, works well, & looks nice
Three reasons I like this product:1) C-Wire: I don’t have a c-wire available. There are VERY few modern smart thermostats that claim to work without one.I first tried one of the others, the Sensi. It did not have any apparent easy way to determine in advance if it would work without a c-wire. It didn’t work for me. The lack of an easy advance tool cost both of us time and money; a lose/lose. A wrote a well-deserved 1 star review of that product. This product does have a very easy tool to determine in advance if it will work without a c-wire. It took me literally 10 seconds to use that tool & be confident this would work. And, it does, in fact, work great without a c-wire.2) Functionality:It comes with a remote temp sensor which is a new thing for me and a great idea. I put mine in the bedroom. It was crazy-easy to set up and I really like the simple interface letting you choose when & how you want the thermostat to use it. It says you can add more of these if you want.Programming a daily schedule is incredibly easy as is making quick adjustments to that schedule. It has all sorts of other features such as auto-adjusting based on who is home, learning your patterns & making further auto adjustments, accepting voice commands, and so on. I do not want to use any of those things. They made it very easy for me to just say “no thanks” to all of those things and still have a nice seamless experience.3) Appearance: I hesitated to buy this product because it is round while my previous thermostat was rectangular and the wall is messed up everywhere behind the area of the old thermostat. Yes, I can patch a wall and paint it – but, no, I don’t really want to if I can avoid it. It was a pleasant surprise to me that this thermostat came with an optional large faceplate that is made to cover up the bad wall in exactly my situation. I used it and it is great.Privacy is a concern but that seems to come with just about everything these days so – I don’t know – just get over it?I recommend this.

A Game-Changer for Home Comfort and Energy Savings
I recently upgraded to the Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen, 2024) with the Nest Temperature Sensor, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. This smart thermostat has exceeded my expectations in both performance and convenience.Design & AestheticsThe Polished Gold finish adds a touch of elegance to my home decor. It’s sleek, modern, and looks great on the wall. The display is bright and easy to read, even from across the room, and it has a nice, minimalistic design that fits seamlessly into any space.Functionality & PerformanceThis thermostat is incredibly intuitive and learns your preferences over time. It automatically adjusts the temperature based on your habits, which means it keeps the house comfortable while saving energy. The Adaptive Eco mode is fantastic for reducing energy consumption when you’re away or asleep, and the integration with the Nest Temperature Sensor allows for more precise temperature control in different rooms.Smart Features & IntegrationThe Nest Thermostat works beautifully with both Alexa and the Google Home app, making it super easy to control with voice commands or via your phone. I can adjust the temperature remotely, monitor energy usage, and set schedules—all from my smartphone. The setup process was quick and easy, and the app interface is user-friendly.Energy EfficiencyOne of the standout features is the energy-saving capabilities. After using it for just a few weeks, I noticed a decrease in my utility bill, thanks to its energy-efficient settings and ability to optimize temperature settings based on my lifestyle.Final ThoughtsIf you’re looking for a smart thermostat that combines style, convenience, and energy savings, the Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen) is the perfect choice. It not only looks great but also works seamlessly with your home’s smart system to create a more comfortable and energy-efficient living environment. Highly recommend!

Yikes what a neat device! It does learn from your daily movements to adjust either heating or cooling regime when you leave the house. It compensates for outside temps and figures out the time required to meet your set temps when you return to the home. There are many settings for fan timings ( to circulate stall air). To use the devices many features one should use the Google home app which requires WiFi. Should this be a ‘no -no’ it can be easily programmed directed by using the thermostat. Our one negative comment is the price. A Generation 3 unit costs less but lacks conservation features of this unit. Time will tell if the units features will save us energy costs. Google emphasized it will save.

The Google Nest Thermostat is a fantastic addition to any home. Its sleek design with a mirror finish not only performs well but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the room. Setup and installation were incredibly simple and user-friendly.It comes with a sensor that is advertised to work up to 50 feet away, but I’ve found it functions just as effectively even a little farther. The thermostat works seamlessly and meets all my expectations.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it! Little expensive but Value for Money

I bought a Google Nest Thermostat from Amazon, and initially, I wasn’t sure how to install it. I contacted the supplier, Mr. Mumtaz, who was incredibly helpful. He came over and installed it for me and did such a great job that I ended up getting one more thermostat, which he also installed. The devices are now working perfectly, and I’m very satisfied with the performance. Highly recommend both the product and the excellent service!
