Well, I’m late to the world of Roku had no idea what it was bought a small Roku TV for our RV because it was a really good price and just fell in love with it now we’re home and I’ve bought the Roku plug-in devices to add to both of my TVs at home it’s a great little gadget so easy to use. There’s no learning curve. You just plug it in. Turn it on. Click on your HMDI port and you’ve got everything at your finger tips.Depending on the kind of TV, you have depends on how difficult it is to get to your streaming apps we have an LG that makes it difficult to pick the app you want takes a really long time probably three or four minutes before you actually can get to the movie you wanna watch so this Roku thing is wonderful We really like it so simple and so easy. I would recommend anybody out there if you’re on the border of buying it or not get it. It’s very reasonably priced oh and I do want to mention we have three fire sticks not so easy to operate. Roku also has a microphone button Works like a charm. I never could get the one on the fire stick to work no matter what I ask it or what I said or how long I held the button down never never so needless to say most of those are just in a drawer. There’s no lag. It’s just a wonderful operating tool for TV simplifies everything And so far although we haven’t had it very long. That’s very reliable. I would buy it again if I have any more TVs, I’m going to buy the Roku brand cause then you don’t have to add anything.

Easy to set up and use. Great performance!
I’ve used other steaming devices and sticks, and it wasn’t until I tried the Roku that I was sold! I ended up buying a couple more for family members and another house. The portability aspect of it is awesome.What I REALLY like about it is the snappy performance! Not sure why bit the other streaming devices that I have used, and same goes for my smart TV, they were all glitchy, laggy and often froze up requiring restarts. Ugh.I would have easily given this 5 stars, but the frustrating part is the non-lighted (back lit keys) remote!!!!!!!!!! Dumb. Fail. I ended up purchasing separate backlighted remotes but almost at a cost of what paid for the Roku to begin with.PLEASE provide back-lit remotes standard. No brainer.

Looking for free channels and networks? This is the one you need , just need Wifi !

If you live in South Africa, I do not recommend you buy it, because most of the features do not work there, some apps do not appear and is not possible to install and if you like the soccer international live sport events you will be frustrated. The voice assistant does not work, even the voice search option

After FlipKart shipped the wrong TV and refused to accept the unopened version back, I ordered this little guy to make the TV smart capable. It allows me to connect my phone to project apps onto TV and play music and shows from around the world that do not have an app. It is small and comes with a remote. Haystack news, Spotify, Netflix are available as apps. J wish more Roku apps were available in India.I take this with me when traveling so I have access to news and updates in English while in hotels where I do not speak the language.
