A Game-Changer for Dark Spaces!
I recently invested in Philips Hue light strips, and I can confidently say they are a five-star product! These aren’t just lights; they’re an experience. The setup was incredibly straightforward, and integrating them into my existing Hue system was a breeze. The adhesive on the back is strong, making installation easy on various surfaces.Where these light strips truly shine for me is in my previously dark and frustrating closets. I have two closets that, for some inexplicable reason, were built without any internal lighting or outlets. Before, rummaging through them was a chore, relying on a phone flashlight or opening the main room lights. Now, with the Hue light strips, both closets are beautifully illuminated, making it so much easier to find clothes and organize. The ability to control the brightness and color temperature has been fantastic – a cool white for practical searching and a warmer glow for a softer ambiance.My only minor gripe, which is entirely due to my house’s wiring, is the lack of an outlet inside the closets. This means I have a power cord running out from each closet to the nearest wall outlet, which isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing. However, this is a small price to pay for the incredible convenience and improved functionality these light strips provide.If you’re looking to add brilliant, smart lighting to any area, especially those dark corners or closets, Philips Hue light strips are an absolute must-have. Highly recommended!

Brilliant and versatile
The adhesive on this works well and lets it be adhered around an inside corner (as opposed to the outside where it would bend around a pillar or edge for example). Choosing an elevation near a ceilling gives excellent light coverage with little to no glare, and when it’s white it’s WHITE, not a bright purple which a lot of cheaper RGB brands offer.The Philips app for smart phones and desktop computers lets you have dynamic lighting, with appropriate setup even to mood match the time of day or full-screen gaming session you’re having.I almost didn’t consider this because of its high price as compared to other light strip products, but the app support and overall lighting quality and versatility have proved to be worth it.

Bright with accurate colors, but expensive with underwhelming adhesive backing.
In short, this light strip is expensive but it offers a good level of brightness (1700 lumens) and vibrant, accurate colors. I’m using it for indirect uplighting on a shelf in my living room so I don’t need to worry about “hotspots” or diffusing the LEDs. The ability to adjust colors and brightness through the app as well as through my numerous Echo Dots is the main selling point for me. I use Alexa routines and a Hue dimmer switch to control it, and have had no issues.That said, the adhesive backing is a bit underwhelming. It didn’t stick as securely as I expected, and I had to use additional adhesive strips to keep it in place. Also, the price is on the higher side compared to other LED strips, especially when factoring in the need for a Hue Bridge for full functionality. I have already bought into the Hue ecosystem pretty extensively so I was prepared for this but if you haven’t, it might be worth going with a cheaper alternative.Overall, it’s a high-quality product with great lighting effects, but the adhesive and cost are worth considering before purchasing.

A great addition to my cabinets
I installed this hue light strip to the cabinets I was resurfacing and they look amazing. I got two 33ft light strips, one each for the top and bottom. The adhesive is very high quality and I haven’t had any problems with adhering to the under sides of my cabinets. They function amazingly well and were able to connect to my existing hue bridge without an issue. I would highly recommend

First, I purchase useful from Amazon Warehouse. The wrong LED was found in the box, and was not Verified prior to delivery.Amazon refunded this after a return.The 2nd box arrived complete, and works good. Easy to setup.The LED strip can only have one color at a time. The lights are not segmented into zones, like govee lightstrips. However, it works well for music sync still.

Always amazing lights. I have so many hue lights for my man cave. Never any problems with the app. Always work perfectly. More expensive than other brands but well worth it.
