This is a well-priced, good quality doorknob and lock. The knob and key are both made of sturdy material that feels good to the touch, and doesn’t damage easily.There’s just one thing: I am a highly forgetful person. This doorknob was installed on an interior door: the door to my bedroom. One chilly, late evening, I stepped out of the room and impulsively locked the door behind me.. without bringing a key with me.What began then was an adventure in the dead of night that kept both myself and my boyfriend awake until 4am on a school night (we both attend college). We tried to scale the condo to get to the second floor window using stacked storage bins, a spare door, a step ladder, and one another. However, we are both quite short (I am 4’11” and he is 5’1″). He called the police (?), and they offered to come over and help us break our door open, but would not assist us in climbing through the second story window (reasonable). We declined the kind offer. We then visited our neighbors and borrowed their ladder, and in her infinite wisdom, one of our neighbors gave us a sturdy hammer.Once climbing in to the room didn’t work, we decided to try to pick the lock. I searched for tutorials and we took our turns attempting to follow the directions of a man on the screen. To no avail. I called around for locksmiths, but it was already around 2am at the time and no one available was within our price range.So we gave up. We looked at the hammer. Our last option.It was just past 4am by the time we were able to enter our bedroom. It took us hours of labor to get the door open. The knob caved in (eventually), but the lock held firm and could not be tampered with using any tools. To summarize: this is a good freaking door knob. Or we’re just shite thieves, which I suppose isn’t entirely unlikely. We’re choosing to focus on the positives here, though — this is a solid knob with a satisfying, well-built locking mechanism. You will most definitely want to have a backup key hidden somewhere in your house, or an alternative method of entry if you’re anything like us.

I bought a total of 4 closet, 2 lockable entry knobs, 1 lever and 1 dummy knob;all in bronze color.They are nice looking, are adjustable for various hole cut-outs, and include thematching strike plates.Not the best quality, so I bought one extra lockable and one spare closet knob just-in-caseone of them breaks or gets damaged. I had some difficulty getting one of the lockable knobsto set right as well as one of the closet knobs. They seem alittle stiff; but they work good enoughand look alot better than my old ones.

Looks Good, Horrible Quality!
I was at first excited about the dead bolt and door knob set. Beautiful color, easy to install and inexpensive. Thought it was a great product until about 10 days after installing.Came home and tried to unlock the deadbolt. It turned. It acted as though it unlocked. But the bolt wouldn’t move. Try as I might, I couldn’t get the bolt to disengage.After 30 mins of struggling to get into the house, I was forced to remove the whole door, which resulted in damaging the hinges. So now I’m out the cost of my purchase and now I have to buy new hinges in order hang my door again. Every store is closed, so we’re without a door for the night. (Which makes it worse because I live in the country and frequently have possum and raccoons on my deck looking for food, and they have no qualms with stopping in for a snack with no door).Upon inspection, I found that a pin inside the deadbolt assembly had fallen out and caused the mechanism to fail. The pin was poorly crimped on one end, which was needed to keep it in place.Overall, good looking product, with horrible quality. Steer clear of this brand. Spend the little extra and protect yourself from being locked out of your house by the very product meant to protect you.

A little flimsy, but does the job…
This lockable door knob is fine…not great, not made that well, but does the job. Pretty easy to install, locks, and turns pretty well. If you are looking for an inexpensive door knob this will work.

Quedó instalada de una manera muy práctica. Un poco complicado hacer el ajuste final de los tornillos pero nada fuera de lo común. Luce excelente.

I installed it myself even though I didn’t have a drill, used elbow grease. Simple and completes the look in my room.

Better quality than the one that I bought in and returned to a mega home hardware. But still, you can improve in these products.
