The lights arrived on time an undamaged. I installed 12 of these lights an only had to get into the attic once to run a wire down the wall to a Leviton Dimmer Smart Switch. The only “pain in the …” was the 4″ round electrical boxes. There’s not enough of a plastic lip to cover the drywall all the way around the hole so snuggling the box up isn’t as cut an dry as some would believe. I did drill 2 holes an found a truss. I bought a shallow pancake box an the lights installed easy. That’s the great thing with these, minimal attic work and versatile.Lights are bright on full power an are a clean bright light. With the Leviton Smart Dimmer Switch I can control the speed at which the lights turn on or off. I can also control what brightness I want the lights to come on at an the lights work flawlessly. I did mess one light up during install because I left too much wire in the electrical box so when I was tightening the screws to mount the light I went through the plastic. Other than that the quality is good.We have a ceiling with a muddled designs on it, not popcorn but something they did back in the 80’s to ceiling. Some of the lights have a small gap between the light and the ceiling but it’s nothing that a little white caulk won’t take care.Over all I liked them. It took longer fishing the wire from box to box than it did installing the lights. The first 2 took me approx. 2 hrs because of what Ibhad to do. I put 4 in the kitchen in about an 1hr an the 6 in the living room (help from the wife with the wire) in about 3 hrs start to finish. I used the basic 31/2ft from the wall an approx 4ft apart and that was just about right. There are shadows on the wall some if which couldn’t be helped no matter what but I was also dealing with a ceiling fan that I had to position the lights around an look right.

Great LEDs lights for my garage
These were a great upgrade from the old incandescent lights that I had in my garage. Simple to wire and made a more modern look to my garage very bright lots would highly recommend.

Mounting keyholes are small + Needs brackets for 3″ box
These lamps are almost twice as bright as the 13W CFLs they replaced.The one shortcoming is that the mounting keyholes are too small, forcing you to remove the old screws from the electrical box and use the ones supplied with the lamps. Not a real big deal, but strange nonetheless. Good value.UPDATE: Along with these 6″ lamps, I bought one of the 4″ lamps. The 4″ is shipped with a bracket that can be used on a 3″ box that would be very handy if included with the 6″ lamps. While changing out the lamps in one building, the electrical boxes were 4″ octagon. The 6″ lamps went in easy-peasy. I got to the next building: 3″ boxes. Ugh! No brackets. I used the adapter bracket that was included with the 4″ lamp to install a 6″ lamps. It worked quite nicely. Trouble is, I cannot find these brackets anywhere. I see variations of them, but not confident they will work. I plan to contact Jullison. Perhaps they can send out 40 of these circular brackets.
