Great value with decent quality.
If you are looking for something inexpensive that looks nicer than it cost, this is a great choice. If you think it will look like a top quality fixture you’d normally pay several hundred dollars for, you may have unrealistic expectations.The metal is strong enough to do its job, but is a little thin. The glass on the version I bought is slightly out of balance causing a slight tilt to each light as they hang. In my opinion, its about the right amount to look good while being imperfect, which is somewhat more in the vibe of real a farmhouse look. You can kinda adjust this by how you position the when securing the large plastic retaining nut, but only so much.The wires are difficult to get threading into the wire nuts because they are very finely stranded, but with some persistent effort can be secured well. The adjusters for height are easy to use and can be adjusted after installation to fine tune things. I am not sure if the wires will ever hang straight, but you can bend them gently to get them close. The weight of the pendant may eventually relax the wires; time will tell. They look fine not perfectly straight, but again I think farmhouse style naturally allows for some imperfections.I didn’t look at the directions, this light installs like pretty much any other light. Look to YouTube for a general concept video if you don’t understand (or hire a pro). The mounting hardware is above average in design giving more options for aligning the fixture to the house.For the price, it is an excellent light fixture and easy to install if you have ever installed a light fixture before.
