These smart plugs are about as straightforward as it gets. Setup was quick — I plugged them in, opened the Alexa app, and they were ready to go within minutes. Adding them to Alexa is so simple that I honestly wish Amazon had made these sooner. I’ve collected a mix of different smart plugs over the years, and these make me want to replace them all just for consistency.The connectivity has been great. Good and basic smart plugs
If you have an Alexa in any of her devices, these smart plugs are amazing. It took 30 seconds to set it up and you can have your virtual assistant turning lamps off and on, or running a routine that you design. There are the original Amazon smart plugs, which are kind of expensive, but these Amazon basics are just as good and a bit slimmer than the older models. Not only that, this four pack was on sale during prime days so they were extremely well priced. They came quickly and were packaged well. The ability to connect and function was absolutely perfect. No problems at all.

Works good, affordable
It was very easy to connect and set up. At first it was not working, but then I realized that my phone was connected to 5G wifi. Need to be on 2.4 wifi to set up it. Also a good idea to know which unit you have before plugging it in and setting it up so you know which QR code to scan to add to Alexa. Works fine, affordable. I use it so I can remotely turn on/off certain things. Works well for my purposes. Knocked down a star because it’s a little wide, would be good if it were more compact.

I have several Amazon smart plugs and enjoy using them for indoor Christmas decor, makes turning lights on and off super easy! I bought these basic plugs b/c they were a bit less expensive. The size is just a tad smaller and the front side of each plug has a small raised border around it. These were not bothersome for me. In fact, I appreciated the smaller side when I had to fit one of this plugs onto a two row power strip. Set up of these plugs was super simple. They do have a set up button just like the normal sized plugs. If you need several Amazon smart plugs, go with these basic style ones! You can buy a boat load for a decent price! My Alexa software and Amazon devices all work seamlessly with these plugs. Can’t wait for Christmas!

Easy to use, simplify life.
Simplify your life, get these plugs. If you travel often and want to have lights on nuanced timers, this is the buy for you. Have only had them about 2 months but so far they work great. And unlike other reviewers, for me set up was easy with no issues connecting to Alexa. So far they are a win, especially for the price.
