So perfect for our basement!
I love this. We’ve been storing cleaning supplies for our basement in an empty cat litter bucket for years. You could never get the broom or mop you wanted with tipping the whole thing over. And we have a “partially finished” basement, meaning a previous homeowner poured concrete (hooray) but we still have a beautiful, beautiful stone foundation that is constantly shedding gritty mortar, allowing damp permeation, housing spiders and other forms of life – so it takes constant work to keep this space functional, even for storage purposes. We’ve been putting conscious effort into making this less of a motivational burden on us and for me, having easy access to cleaning tools was a good place to start. Now I know where everything is. I’m not going to create an avalanche looking for the right cleaning tool. I can store replacement mop heads and cleaning fluids right there with the mops, and if I change my mind about where I want to put things, this is ON WHEELS. Oh my. I love this so freaking much. Everything in our basement has to be on wheels or cinderblocks in case we get back to back hurricane rains and we start getting ground water seepage. We need to roll things out of the way of the water, or easily move them or get under them for mopping up after.As for other practicalities, this is easy to put together. I did it in my pajamas while drinking my morning coffee, so I wasn’t even fully awake. Everything fit together smoothly. You’ll get it right the first time, because the directions are very clear. Once it’s together, it’s very sturdy, but not so heavy that you can’t easily carry it up or down a flight of stairs. Nothing needed to be bent to fit, no new holes need to be drilled out to account for poor measurement in manufacturing. This is cake.

Easy to put together by one person. Looks nice and holds a decent number of cleaning items, adult and kid sized) for its overall dimensions (I wanted a smaller one for the laundry room). It’s fairly easy to roll the broom out and in. It also came with wheels, but I didn’t use them and installed the stationary foot option.
