Pretty replacement for builder quality original
I replaced the original “boob” ceiling lights with this sparkly fixture. Its very pretty. The brightness makes the house more cheerful and safer; no more risk of tripping on small toys i didn’t see. It’ll be so much easier to replace light bulbs as well.

A wonderful Surprise!
We needed two lights for a hallway in our 130yr old home and when I went out to price new lights, wow, they are expensive when you want something outside of what the big box stores offer. I had never ordered lights of Amazon so I was warry of doing such. These two showed up and I was immediately impressed. They look great, and have been working great for us for 6 months now. They might be a little cheaply made, but, its not like people can see them up close or you’ll be moving them around for years so who cares. They stay in one place. If I want to replace them, I’m not out much. I was impressed that clear material was glass. Def buy again from this company.

Surprisingly good and surprisingly easy to install. Installing a new light with fitting is not a task to undertake casually, especially when it’s high enough that you need a ladder. On opening the light, I was happy with how well it had been packaged and protected, so no concerns with it surviving the delivery to your home, unless the guys play football with it.On unwrapping it and removing the layers of packing I did notice that the “glass” was plastic. However, I will say that once I had it fully unwrapped and held it up to some sunlight that was coming in the window, it did throw a colorful light show on the walls just like it was glass. This effect will depend on the angle and type of light because modern bulbs often don’t seem to have the full spectrum like sunlight, but impressive. It seemed well made, given the price point, yes close up you see the limitations of the price point, but at a distance it’s not too bad at all. The box does contain everything you will need to install it in a regular ceiling light fitting, other than the tools to perform the job. I was simply removing an old and tired light fitting with something a little newer and different from what we had. Safety first, turn off your electricity, have a flashlight, preferably a headlight which is hands free, and a TESTER to test the power is off. If you’re not comfortable, capable or experienced working with household mains voltage, DO NOT try this, get someone who can, do this for you. Once I had the power off and CONFIRMED, I removed the old light fitting which left the install box in the ceiling and wires hanging down. You have a plate included which can be screwed to the ceiling box. The plate has enough options that most size ceiling boxes and types should be able to accommodate the adaptor plate with at least 2 screws, which are also included. You will now have the plate secured, the wires hanging down through the center and the two threaded studs hanging down ready to attach the light fitting. Now just connect the wires on the new light fitting with the wires from your ceiling. Twist the appropriate ones together and then add the twist connectors over the top to hold them secure and protect them from shorting out on anything else, the twist connectors are also included. Now just gently maneuver the wire up into the ceiling box behind the adaptor plate, as you raise the light fitting and align the studs with the holes in the light. Once you have the light fitting up and in place you will see the studs protruding through the holes in the light and you just secure it with the included screws which are also gold and match the light fitting. Then all that’s left to do is insert your favorite bulb turn your electricity back on and test the light. Certainly, made a difference in the room we installed this in. It is not an expensive light, so be realistic with your expectations, but taking that into consideration it is a good product and looks the part. You also do get spare plastic (glass) parts in case you lose or damage any of the ones on the light, but at no time did I think that any of the glass would simply fall out, as it seems fairly secure, so you would have to be a little rough with it before that would happen.

I eyed this for a while before taking the plunge and ordering it as the new light for our renovated bathroom. I kept thinking “no, it’s too fancy for us” but I couldn’t stop returning to the page to imagine the sparkle, and I’m honestly so glad I went for it.Following a bad flood we renovated the bathroom in mostly white and grey, which came out far colder looking than I had expected. Blue green walls and a rustic wood mirror helped soften it, but I still wanted something that would brighten the space in a way that suited what was already there. Enter this petite, glitzy light!It adds a gentle elegance to the small space, which isn’t something I expected to say of a bathroom! On a dimmer switch it also makes for baths that feel spa-like and luxurious, casting gentle patterns on the ceiling that create an interesting visual effect. The price seems quite reasonable for the quality and appearance of it; I’m not sure it would work in a main corridor but in a back hall where the primary purpose of the light would be after-dark travel from bed to bath, I think it would have an equally pleasing effect.I can’t speak directly to ease of installation but the electrician didn’t complain of it to me, so I’ll take that as a good sign! We’re certainly enjoying the result.
