Record book for home maintenace and improvements
I looked at several log books like this one before deciding on this particular one. It is not perfect and has a lot of extraneous pages/content that we do not use. But, it is acting as a good log book of home repairs, upgrades, and maintenance–both for reminders and as a record.

Complicated but ok
Not as good as the first one I bought some years ago (The Home Owner’s Journal, which is no longer in print), but it will do I guess. I don’t like how much it is split up into jobs and categories instead of simply rooms. I’ve had to cross out and rewrite several times already as I discover paint is its own separate chapter, and improvements are another chapter separated by rooms and there are loads of wasted pages “what I want to do differently next year.” You may like it if you like to journal and write down every little thing you do.

Book covers feels awful
The contents of this book are fabulous but I hate the way the cover of the book feels on my hands- kindof sticky but not… really hard to describe. If you have tactile issues I would recommend passing on this book.
