Really 4.5 stars – but looks and works really well.
Truth be told I cursed a lot while installing these. The mounting hardware (very small screws not suitable for plaster/drywall ceiling were really no where near as heavy duty as they should have been so fortunately I had some larger nylon screw in anchors and heavier screws that worked really well. I’d strongly suggest making sure you have at least a set of 4 heavier screw type nylon anchors and screws before starting. I tried at first with the very small anchors included and they ripped right out when 1/2 through the install.The other problem was that the electrical box in my ceiling that was centered underneath the light I wanted to use for the main anchor but couldn’t as the lights transformer covered it in the direction I wanted to use. There were perforations (like half moon shaped) in the lights chassis that were intended for mounting it and no other place to move the transformer without possibly damaging the light. So I ended up relying sole on the 4 screw holes at the four corners of the light – and the screws provided weren’t sufficient as noted above.There was very little documentation with it but I would say it would easily mount with two people or one person and some swearing because it’s pretty unwieldly though not really heavy. When you go to install the plastic light cover, screw in the two screws on the extremes of the large oval bracket first loosely, then you can tilt the bracket to slide the plastic light cover under. One on it looked pretty good (meaning quality, design and function wise) which is good because I bought two by mistake but have another place I am planning on mounting it in a condo in South America ( does 240 and 120 – YES!).The remote is handy but I doubt if you lost it you would care too much, adjusts between white and yellow, though the change aren’t that earth shaking. When ever you turn it on via a light switch, it comes on in the last setting you used, so if you lose your remote, make sure to set it how you want it before you lose it :-).As far as how bright it gets, my old 4 tube x 4 ft florescent light was brighter but this looks much more dressed and elegant. It’s not dimmer by much and no one in my family has complained or walked into the wall because they couldn’t see. I know some want the sun, this is fairly bright but not what I would call real bright. Even with the shortfalls listed, I would buy it again though I would prefer it be slightly brighter and slightly cheaper as well as the mfg spending another $0.25 cents to get hardware that secures it better.

Great light, but flicker
They look nice but have a minor flicker. The amount of light produced is a huge improvement, so I will keep them.

Great purchase. Easy install, multiple light brightness settings. Will purchase this again. Well worth the cost.

I love these light fixtures. They are very bright and look good for a bathroom, hallway and kitchen.
