    Fantastic Kitchen Light
As LED lights are the present and future, I spent a bit of time looking for options at the two main box stores in my area. Both had options I sort of liked, but I didn’t love them and they were pricey. This light didn’t break the bank, has a nice aesthetic, was easy to install and is very bright. My electrician was in my home when I was going to put it up. He commented on how it was a good light in that it had the screw anchors built in to it AND the quick connect wire attachment. I couldn’t believe how quickly and easily I got it up on the ceiling. Definitely a good purchase

These are better than I had expected
I purchased two of these to replace standard fluorescent light fixtures in our kitchen. I have basic electrical knowledge and skills, and I was able to install these on my own. I rate the level of difficulty of installation at about 3, where changing a light bulb = 0, and replacing an entire breaker box =10. (I did not want a dimmer switch. I feel certain that would require an electrician, because it appears additional wiring would be required for the dimmer switch.) I have included a couple of photos of the installed lights. Since they were installed in an existing enclosure which already had a diffuser, I did not use the diffusers which were included with these fixtures. These lights are much brighter than they appear in the photos. This was a significant upgrade in brightness throughout the kitchen, and my wife is very pleased. I highly recommend these, and I am certain I will be getting more of them.

    Good light
Ive read mixed reviews. There is a delay when you turn it on. So!!!! It’s cheap. It’s bright, it’s simple. The dimmer isn’t wired. I don’t care. My only complaint is there is no where to tuck wires so you see them through the cover.

Nice & bright 2 ft led light
Replaced the older fluorescent light with this 2 ft led light and couldn’t be more satisfied. Much more brighter & aesthetically appealing and modern looking! My wife can finally see what she’s washing & loves it. Ordered a second light for the laundry room and will install it soon. Strongly recommend if you want a more modern look and brighter light for your kitchen or whatever room you plan to install this light in. It does not disappoint!

Perfect replacement for the kitchen light I had.
I purchased this LED light to be a replacement for the florescent light fixture I had in my kitchen. This fixture is smaller but provided just as much if not more light than the light it replaces. I just wanted an equal if not better in illumination. This definitely serves it’s purpose. It was easy to install with two people. I definitely recommend having two people while installing this light. It’s just a matter of holding the light in place as the other person performs the needed mounting and electrical installation work. This light needs to be attached to a light switch, it does not come with any type of switch of it’s own. It does work perfectly with a light switch that’s compatible with an automation network, which I did do. However, it doesn’t come with any such hardware on it’s own.I found the light level and color temperature to be perfect for a kitchen or other common area. It does give off a cool white color but it’s a nice even color and should compliment any other cool white lights that are close by.Overall, I found it to be a good value for it’s price. I’d purchase this product again if I have a use for it.

    Bright, Clean Light
I recently purchased some LED bulbs that claimed to be compatible with existing ballasts that ended up destroying my light fixture. That forced me to search for and purchase a new fixture to replace the existing fluorescent fixture. I came across this one and purchased it for two reasons:1) The footprint was slightly larger than my old fixture, allowing me to easily hide the unfinished drywall that I uncovered when pulling down the old fixture, and2) I liked the looks online and appreciated the fact that an LED fixture would be more efficient than the old fixture. It took me all of 15 minutes to install this fixture. One helpful tip I can share is that it helps to have a zip tie on hand to tie the cords up in the fixture. There is a handy zip tie mount spot in the light that I was able to use for this purpose and it allowed me to tie the cords directly to the top of the unit. This resulted in clean light coming from the fixture without any cord “shadows” in the plastic.I’d buy this again in a heartbeat – in fact, I’m contemplating purchasing two more for other spots in my house that have the same fixture I just replaced.

Dimmer circuit added. LED strips are bright and on the bluish end of the spectrum.
These LED lights can be controlled by a 0-10V controller. I mounted the first of 3 lights on my ceiling, after installing a Qubino Zwave 0-10V dimming circuit. The photo shows the light with the Qubino Z-Wave Plus Flush Dimmer 0-10V, Gen5 (ZMNHVD3) zwave dimmer (small blue unit) and a 19V power supply (bottom of image larger black box). Note the white wire exiting the LED light unit itself. This carries the 0-10V dimmer signal from the Qubino to the next LED so they all dim together. This controller sends out a 0-10V signal to control the LEDs through the gray and purple wires coming out of the LED controller. At the switch, I connected the hot to the load lines so power is always doing to the light and the Qubino controller. I paired the Qubino with my zwave system. I then replaced the on/off switch with a Zwave dimmer and associated the dimmer with the Quibino (in case my zwave box is offline, the dimmer will still control the switch).Advantages:1) Complete dimming control using these lights without having to run additional wiring through the wall.2) Less expensive than other similar installsDisadvantages:1) Extra small low voltage wire running along my garage ceiling (the only way around this would be to a Qubino in each light; they are about $58 US).2) Small amount of amperage always running to the power supply

I have this in a 10×10 office. Very bright. Light color is perfect. Just remember it is not dimmable.

Trying to return a defective lamp and return shipping is almost half the cost of the unit in the first place… great customer service
