Excellent Z-Wave Adapter — Incredible Range and Stability
I migrated my existing Z-Wave network to this adapter using Z-Wave JS in Home Assistant and placed it in the same spot as my old controller. The reception improvement is outstanding — the mesh has become almost unnecessary since nearly every sensor now connects directly. Migration was smooth, setup was quick, and performance has been rock-solid. A must-have upgrade for any Home Assistant Z-Wave setup.

Works Easily to add Zwave to a HA Green
Easy to add to Home Assistant, looks cool. Bigger than I thought. Has decent range and can work in mesh or long-range mode with a variety of devices. In my home I have definitely had to use mesh to reach the outer corners, even though nothing is more than 50 meters away from the source. Noisy electronic environment (too many home automations), masonry walls. Have added a bunch of battery and AC powered devices without much trouble, although they like to be near the antenna for initial setup, then rebuild whole network once everything is moved into place. I wish it could act like a Bluetooth Proxy, and I would put a few throughout the house, but this is probably a fundamental misunderstanding of how the technology works on my part.

Enables Driveway Gate control via ZWave (NOT MyQ WiFi)
My existing tiny 500 series ZWave-Me controller has been working fine for several years but once I added a Shelly Wave LR and Zooz LR sensor to my new driveway gate, it was time to go with a long range ZWave hub. It is working great over a quite long distance that my old Zwave AND WiFi could not reach effectively. The install process was shockingly fast and easy migrating my 25 ZWave devices to the ZWA-2. This is really a great addition to my Home Assistant network.

Easy to install and works great with little setup.
One of the intimidating things about Home Assistant is the setup factor. At times, it can be daunting to make devices work. This is a perfect plug and play solution for Z-Wave devices and Home Assistant. After a very easy install, I installed several Z-Wave light switches. It has a very good range. The antenna is on one side of the house and it has zero issues reaching the other side of my house. Highly suggest this unit if you plan on using any Z-Wave devices in Home Assistant.

Great Z-Wave antenna
Works well. Good range. It’s a bit taller than I expected. Installation was plug n play but does require a bit of knowledge depending on setup. I had no issues getting it up and running with Home Assistant.

The Best
Easily the best Z-Wave adapter. They’ve clearly worked hard to bring the price point down to an affordable level while still guaranteeing excellent quality. $80 is an excellent price for this.I got an immediate 10 db signal increase. This thing is much larger than the photos make it to be, it’s easily 1 foot tall.

Finally, a Z-Wave Controller That Just Works!
After months of frustration dealing with Zooz Z-Wave controller issues and a painfully unstable Z-Wave network post-migration, I finally switched to the ZWA-2—and I couldn’t be happier. The difference was immediate and dramatic. Devices that constantly dropped off the network are now rock solid. Automations run smoothly, and the overall responsiveness of my smart home has improved significantly. It’s clear that the ZWA-2 is engineered with reliability in mind.Setup was straightforward, and the controller integrated seamlessly with my existing system. I wish I had made the switch sooner—it would have saved me countless hours of troubleshooting. If you’re struggling with Z-Wave reliability or migrating from another controller, do yourself a favor and get the ZWA-2. It’s the upgrade your smart home deserves.

Just worked and range and reliability is noticable better.
Just worked when plugged in. Range is great and devices in detached workshop are able to connect and work without issue.
