Candle lamps are the greatest invention in using home fragrance in a long time! So efficient, safe, inexpensive and many styles to choose from. It’s wonderful for gift-giving too. I’m reviewing the black and brass half-round model. In addition to its design and color working well with my decor, I chose this one because the base has a ridge that prevents the candle jar from sliding off of the base while moving it to dust. The timer and bulb intensity features are fantastic. Mine is situated on an entry table that makes visible the top of the shade and the screw holding it in place. I mention this because the screw and nut are made from standard silver metal. I happen to have a gold leafing pen that I use for crafts, so I used it to paint the screw and nut so that it looks less utilitarian and now coordinates nicely with the other brass accents on the lamp.

Plus, I’ll never have to rely on lighters or matches for lighting candles again. A quick note: you still experience the delightful scent of the candle without any of the associated smoke. It can accommodate standard Bath & Body Works-sized candles or smaller ones, depending on your preference.I particularly love using the Melanie Martinez Portal Egg candles; their fragrances fill my entire downstairs, creating such a delightful atmosphere. I love it! Only thing is mines did not come with 2 extra bulbs in the packaging. Which is a bummer because I has to purchase a separate pack. Other than that, its nice quality.
