Great Value Smart Plugs with Matter Protocol — Reliable, Affordable, and Future-Proof
I’ve been using smart plugs for years, but the Linkind Matter Smart Plug (4-pack) really stands out — and not just because they’re about half the price of some “big brand” options. What sets them apart for me is Matter protocol support. If you’ve been dabbling in smart home tech, you know how frustrating it is when devices only work in their own app or have quirky compatibility. With Matter, I set these up directly in Apple Home without juggling multiple manufacturer accounts. They also work with Alexa, Google, and SmartThings if that’s your ecosystem. 🔌Setup: Super easy. I paired them with my HomePod in under two minutes — no separate app required. The option to use the AiDot app without a hub is a nice touch, too. ✅Performance:- They respond instantly to voice commands and app controls. ⚡- The offline-ready feature is a game changer — even if my internet goes down, my automations still work within my local network.- Compact design means I can plug two into the same wall outlet without wrestling with bulky adapters.Extra Features I Love:- Built-in scheduling is perfect for my morning coffee maker ☕ and evening lamps.- 15A/1800W rating is more than enough for heavier-duty devices like space heaters (though I still monitor for safety).- Fire-resistant materials and overload protection give peace of mind. 🔥Pros:- Very affordable for a Matter-certified device 💰- Wide compatibility (Apple, Alexa, Google, SmartThings)- Offline control capability- Compact, safe designCons:- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only (not a deal-breaker, but worth noting) 📶- Requires a Matter-compatible hub for certain platformsBottom Line:If you’re building or upgrading a smart home, these are a no-brainer. They future-proof your setup with Matter compatibility, work reliably, and cost less than many non-Matter alternatives. Honestly, for the price of one premium smart plug, you can get four of these and have change left for coffee. ☕✨

Nice price, works great.
If you’re looking for a quick way to smarten up your home, especially if you are an Apple Home Kit user, you can’t go wrong with these outlets. They are very simple to install and use.Open HomeKit and add a device, then scan the QR code on the side of the outlet and plug it in. After about a minute you are dropped into a setup dialog. From there you can setup schedules and conditions for when the light turns on or off. Simple and easy.I have mine set to turn lights on and off while I’m away to simulate me being home. I’ve also linked the light to my doorbell so it flashes when someone rings the bell.If I had to ding the outlet for anything it would be for its size. It’s a tad bulky. Add to that a standard lamp plug, not a flat, wall hugging plug, and the whole affair stands out from the wall about 3”.Tip: Don’t bother with setting up an account, doing so is redundant if you use HomeKit. While the account setup is easy and the device setup is simple, you can do everything through HomeKit and not create yet another potentially hackable account. And the price is right.

Very easy setup
So far these have worked great for me. I’m using for reptile lights so I can automatically turn off and on as needed. They were easy to setup and have had no problems staying connected in my home. I will be purchasing an apple home pod so I can schedule the timers

Solid performer. Quick setup, and responsive in use. One of 4 plugs was DOA
Solid performer. Quick setup, and responsive in use. A good Matter compliant plug.*Update*One plug wont register, and appears faulty. This reduces the cost effectiveness of the purchase. Its disappointing, since as a multipart they wont send just a single replacement, and I already have them in use and don’t intent to return all 4.Reduced from 5 stars to 4 for this.

Easiest and fastest smart plugs to set up and synch with app on the phone
I’ve used other smart plugs and used to struggle to get them to work/synch. The last ones lasted for a couple of years, and then died. So I had to find a replacement. This set is probably one of the easiest to set up. It didn’t take long to set them up and it was so easy. At first, I tried to set it up using the Home App but that took me to more products made by Apple, and it didn’t allow me to set up schedules according to specific times. So I switched to AiDot app instead and that was a whole lot better to set up and synch with my phone.I set up the plugs to work with floor and desk lamps, and also a plug for the Christmas tree. I hope these last a lot longer than the last ones. I’m just so happy with the ease and speed by which these paired and synched.

Great!
Relatively unproblematic to set up, work great with Apple HomeKit. They’re a little chunky, but ultimately still a great product and the cheapest I could find for what you get.

Idiot proof
They were super simple to set up. They paired right up with my Alexa without really having to do anything. Just read the instructions and type in the number and it all just came together and worked. I thought it would be more complicated but it wasn’t. They also cost a lot less than I would expect for something like this. Only thing I wish is that they were a little smaller but for the convenience of not having to try and contort myself behind my couch to turn on my reptile lights, I can overlook the size.
