Amazing Product!!!
I have had LockStar installed on our front entry door for about a year and a half now. Our experience with using the lock over that time has exceeded expectations, in terms of durability and reliability of the product. Beyond that, we have maintained a high level of trust that the lock has operated in such a way to give us comfort about security, flexibility in offering different access types to different individuals as well as peace of mind in being notified by name who is coming and going at the house.LockStar put in so much thought into every aspect of the product:- Installation was very easy. The Video is all you need, but there are also clear written instructions with easy to follow illustrations.- The Package comes with everything you need. There is even a very nice quality screwdriver and hole saw just to the exact site needed for installation. I’m suprised they didn’t throw a drill in there too (Just Kidding) 🙂 But really, what a nice touch…show super care for the customer experience.- There is a card in there giving an option to text your name, email and serial number to activate your warranty. Super easy and I don’t know how many times I’ve skipped over registering a product because it seems like a more complicated process. But I did register this product and actually heard back directly from the owner.- There is an installation Video for the Lock, the App and the Gateway…all very easy to follow.In terms of operation:- In a year and a half, the lock has never failed to let someone through the door that had a valid means of entry. At times, when it has rained and someone’s thumb or finger is wet, it is not able to detect on the fingerprint scanner as well. But as a backup, everyone has a code that can be entered into the keypad. And some individual in the house carry the key fob on their keyring just as a third option.- For other types of access such as if we have a cleaning service out to the house, I can either issue a temporary code, or have someone call me when they get to the house. I can then see them on my ring cam and can then use the LockStar App to manually press the Unlock button to allow them into the house.- In a year and a half, the gateway has never failed to send me notifications about who is coming and going, except when it had accidentally been unplugged from the wall. As soon as we powered it back on, notifications started coming through.- The App is incredibly user friendly. I love the fact that I can register a fingerprint / passcode / key fob…to a Name and then know by name who has come through the door.- I’m also notified each time someone is attempting to gain access and is denied…such as a unmatched fingerprint or passcode.I just cannot think of anything that was missed in terms of offering a very high quality / reliable / easy to use product that ensure security while providing peace of mind in know when your family / kids are coming and going at the house.The owner was super thoughtful in every aspect and detail of the customer experience and has shown above and beyond care in just sending a simple text in response to my registration checking in on how things were going with my use of his product.This is a single family owned business and I hope if you read this review you will consider supporting them as I cannot imagine you will find a better product for the price with these same options and you certainly will be supporting a family that cares greatly about their contribution to lives of others because of the care they have put into every part of the process.

Great Product, Great Support, Great Deal
I installed this door lock to replace a different brand that came without our house. I love it!The installation was pretty easy. I had to drill out the deadbolt hole in our door frame just a tiny bit to get the auto lock feature to work correctly. In the end, this is probably a good thing as the previous deadbolt was rather shallow and would have been easier to break open. Aside from that, it was just a few screws and nothing complex at all. The instructions were remarkably clear.The LockStar app works well. I was able to add fingerprints and RFID cards to my account easily. It integrates easy with Google Home. I love the auto door lock feature, so even if my kids forget to lock the door, I know that it will lock after 60 seconds anyway.I think the price was fantastic. It is easily half the cost of what you would find at Lowe’s or Home Depot.I reached out to Lockstar about adding additional RFID cards. I have special needs children and the fingerprint didn’t work well for them (the fingerprint works great for me though!). The experience with their support team was fantastic and they went above and beyond. That’s a pretty rare feature these days.I rarely leave product reviews on Amazon, but given the great product, great support, and great price, I felt obligated to let others know. If you are in the need for a door lock, you will be thrilled with this product.

Impressive Smart Lock – Easy Setup & Great Performance!
I’m really impressed with the Lockstar Smart Lock! Right out of the box, it was super easy to install — no hassle at all. It offers multiple access methods, and the fingerprint recognition is fast and reliable, which adds a nice layer of convenience and security.So far, everything works exactly as advertised, and I’m hoping the battery life holds up better than my previous smart lock. Time will tell, but things are off to a great start.Also, shout-out to their customer service team — they were responsive, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend this lock to anyone looking to upgrade their home security with smart features.

Much more than I expected for the price
Fantastic electronic door lock. Installation was quick and easy. Setting up the app worked perfectly firs time. It has incredible variety in giving access to family, guests, or those that need it on a temporary or permanent basis. It comes with so many access methods and most important to me, it works with Alexa. You can set it to automatically lock when you close the door or on a timed basis so you don’t have to remember. (Not to worry, it also has remote status checking and locking or unlocking). The innovation and quality of this product is astounding. One more thing, they areally are a family business and followed up with a hello email after I registered. Pretty cool.

SMART LOCK SO GOOD — INSTALLED ON ALL EXTERIOR DOORS
I purchased 1 LockStar smart door lock in Aug 2025 and was so impressed I purchased 2 more; so now they are on all doors into the house! First, the kit itself is of very high quality, it even has tools to cut lock hole and yes, a small detail, but it includes a screw driver that is not a “throwaway” tool. I am a design engineer myself, and I can say that this smart lock was well thought out. The installation guide is very thorough and clear. Take the time to create the proper hole in the door jam so that the lock’s deadbolt engages cleanly and without friction. Once this is done, the rest is easy! The smart door lock allows 5 different ways to gain access: App, key, fingerprint, code, fob. We found that the fingerprint is most useful and convenient. The app makes adding fingerprints easy and we added many for each person, i.e. index finger, thumb and then multiple versions of each of these so that door opens most of the time on the first attempt. Speaking of the App, it is very easy to use and intuitive, no complaints here. In addition pairing, to the included gateway to allow remote access to the lock or to check its status remotely, just works right away. In summary, I would highly, highly recommend this lock.

What am amazing lock, it was so easy to install, is quality construction, the app was super simple and overall just easy to use.So many options for locking and unlocking, including key, code, fob, fingerprint and remotely. I’ve had it a month and my battery level is still showing 100% on the app.I recently put my home on a home swap site and this lets me manage access, check when people came and went, send codes, see who’s codes were used, check if the door is locked or not, and so much more.I registered for the 2 year warranty, but discovered this Amazon purchase is a reseller, so if you want the warranty you should search this item on US Amazon and buy direct from the manufacturer, which is a small family business, and they’ve even checked in on me and my lock despite not buying from them. Their price is $160US.Either way, highly recommend this lock.
