Yep! I flushed a wash cloth and this little grabber helped me to get it out. Great value.
This tool worked very well and saved our family a lot of stress and potential professional plumber fees. I was cleaning the bathroom in a frenzy to hurry up and get it done. I had three cloths that I was using to clean with, and one yellow one was missing after the frenzy. I must have dropped it in the toilet without knowing, and then flushed. That wash cloth was thick, big and perfect to flush because it didn’t make it very far. I had to really reach in all the way to meet resistance with this shorter tool. Then I had to work the mechanism to open and close the grabber several times, while twisting the device or spinning it around a little to catch a good spot on the cloth. Once I felt that I had grabbed the cloth, I gave a steady light pull, and kept going little by little until it was out. It’s a miracle. Of all the cloths, that was a big one which made it harder to pull out but much harder to really flush.I thought I had ordered the 6 foot tool, but I ordered the 24 inch. This tool is coated so there is no worry about scratching the surface in the bowl. No added effort of wrapping with tape. I also was smart and did an internet search for info about flushing wash cloths. There is a lot of info and the correct message is ‘Do not plunge the toilet and drive the item further in.” You want it out. Suck it out, or use this tool. Don’t force it farther into the impossible to reach realm. Had this tool not worked, I would have tried the shop vac or a longer tool before calling someone.To hit the points, the device is easy to use, you need to make sure that the grabber mechanism in engaging correctly and grabbing well. I activated the trigger several times and got the device seated and showing good working action. The quality is good, and the price was very competitive. It came the next day, and the size turned out to be perfect for the job. The removal was relatively easy.Happy and relieved.5 stars

Perfect to get clogs out of your vacuum
This worked perfectly! I bought this to get the clog out of my vacuum cleaner. My son has those Nerf balls that fit perfectly in the tube and it won’t come out. This was able to grab it and pull it out.

Amazing and idiot-proof!
I dropped my Oura ring down the sink and thought, farewell! Being non-magnetic, I thought there was no way in haaaaa-iiiilll I was ever getting it out. Behold, this grabber thinger! It is super sturdy, and really smartly designed. Reader, it took me 2 tries (the first time to figure out spacial distancing) and I had my ring in a disgustingly clumpy hairy mess in (no kidding) 20 seconds. I am so so happy with this I ran to write this review! It was by far the cheapest item I was eyeing, so I didn’t have high expectations. I’ve never been so happy to be wrong! The only thing I’d warn is that those with gripping issues might find it difficult to squeeze the top hard enough for the claw to come out, but I had no problems myself. I may have “rawr-ed” to myself a little with each squeeze. Regardless, seriously a lifesaver! I am no longer cursing my stupidity for dropping things down my open sink! Next purchase, a sink drain/stopper! Seriously! It was super quick, super easy, and super cheap! 10/10 would buy again!

Hard to squeeze but works well
The squeezer is hard to push, I got this to get lint out of the dryer, it’s too hard for me to squeeze, but it gets the job done when I can do it

Item broke on first use
This item broke upon first use . I had used a similar item for years and it never broke. Using this item in the same way, the claw broke on the first use . I can’t find anyway to return this item since we didn’t use it until after the 30 day window .

It works like a charm!
My daughter dripped a bracelet down the bathroom sink. I remember my dad had this claw tool when I was a kid so I looked it up and ordered it on Amazon. It came the next day and I was able to retrieve the bracelet on the first try. Very happy with the product.

This grabber is very handy. The price makes it very attractive.It fits nicely in my tool box. Perfect tool for retrieving small parts from very hard to reach places, like intake manifolds.Get one. You will appreciate having it.

I have small children and they use small toothbrushes. We don’t have a stopper for our sink drain in the family bathroom and last night, my daughter’s small toothbrush fell down the drain. I tried everything I could think of to get it out. After half an hour of trying, I thought to myself, Amazon seems to have everything you can think of- I wonder if they have a tiny grabber for situations like this. Sure enough, I found this little gadget and ordered it around 9 pm. It came in the next day (today) and within a minute, I was able to retrieve the toothbrush along with another toothbrush that I didn’t even know was down there! What a handy device! The toothbrushes are of course plastic so I appreciate the little metal claw that comes out and firmly holds onto whatever object you need to save. It has a firm grip that doesn’t let go. If that ever happens again, I now have this to come to the rescue 🙂

I purchased this item on April 30th, 2023. It fell apart on May 29th, 2024 after being used 2 or 3 times over that period of time. I don’t expect an item of this caliber to last forever, but I do expect to get at least a satisfactory lifespan. The wire that is connected to the plunger simply slipped out of the crimped plunger end. There’s no crimp or loop to keep it from letting go. I was fairly pleased with this product while it lasted. It grabbed hair clumps out of the clogged drain quite well. One of the claws bent on the first use but it still worked well. I wouldn’t buy this product again.

This is a decent tool for cleaning out the hair, gunk, etc from drains.However, I found it to be a little too thick. Makes it difficult to get into the tight spots to clear. I have used a thinner one in the past and I would opt for that rather than this design if I were to purchase again.
