FUNCTIONAL – DECORATIVE – ACCURATE
Have several rain gauges around the yard, and use this in the front because it is attractive. Found it to be accurate; easy to place in a rock bed; accurate’ Caveat – make sure you take in in the winter as glass tube will break with any moisture, freezing and thawing

Accurate and cute
This rain gauge is sweet looking with the little bunny and very accurate. I’ve bought this same rain gauge as gifts for family and friends. Each one was delivered in tact and easy to set up. The numbers on the gauge are large enough to read and the gauge reads up to 7”. We see 6-7” of rain many times but it’s nice to measure 2 tenths or just one tenth. It’s cool and priced very well. I would suggest this rain gauge as a gift for anyone who gardens or just likes to measure rain. I’m sure I’ll buy more. They also sell just the glass rain catcher just in case you break yours. Glass gets brittle in the sun and cold so eventually the glass may crack. I’m careful when I clean the glass catcher and not use metal to clean it. Try a bottle brush. You may get a little algae in between rain events. I put a half a drop of blue food coloring before a rain and I can guess the amount as it fills. You’re gonna like this little jewel. Excellent price too.

Easy to read and won’t break!
My last rain gauge broke. It was glass. This gauge tube is plastic and the flamingos are pretty. It was easy to bend into shape (but sharp…be careful) after being packed tight.
