Glad I finally bought this, quality gadget, easy set up even for me! My daughter in-law bought a hard wire one…it’s still in box from a year ago. The battery operated one is soo much simpler, any one could install, still learning it, but quality photos and voice sound , glad we got one, feel safer looking through camera than out a window in middle of the night when somethings making weird noises

Best purchase I made yet! Super easy to install. Connects right to your phone. I can watch live video from anywhere. Picture quality is great. I’m notified whenever someone comes near my home. Works with no problems. Doorbell works. Records as soon as it detects a presence. You can save or delete videos. Has many features to choose from in App. Looks exactly like the picture online.

If there is a best door bell camera on the market, is probably this one.
This would be my 2nd doorbell camera. There is a night and day difference between this Ring and the other brand. The motion is detected more efficiently, there is no lag, or a very short lag between the time the button is pushed and the notification, less than a second, and 1-2 seconds for the app to establish connection. I blame it on the wi-fi network. Anyway, this works great, and is a gigantic improvement from the first camera (from a large competitor) that would need 30-40 seconds to launch the app and connect me with the person at the door. Sometimes they would leave before getting an answer, having the impression that nobody’s at home. The installation was quick and simple, the steps are easy to follow. The color blends in nicely with the brick wall, and the material is good quality, scratch resistant and the speaker is loud.

This is one of my top 3 best pitches of the last 5-years! I absolutely LOVE this Ring doorbell! My parents live with me, and I downloaded the Ring App to all of our phones. My parents are older (in their 70s), and aren’t especially tech savvy. The Ring App is so user friendly that both of my parents are able to navigate the App without issue. We have 2 of these doorbells. One is in the front, and one in the back. We pay just under $10 a month for both of our doorbells to have live doorbell answering, motion detection video recording, alerts, etc. $10 a month for a peace of mind and a sense of security is worth it! You can pay a little more and get additional features such as 911 dispatch and live 24/7 video monitoring, but the lowest level is perfect for my family. I really love that the alert to let you know there is motion, a car, a person, and animal, etc., is different from all other alerts, so I am immediately aware of what the notification is for. Another great feature is the ability to turn the chime sound off during certain hours so it won’t wake you up in the night. I have mine set to mute between 10pm and 8am in the front, but it is never muted in the back. During the time it is muted, it still catches movement and records it. I highly recommend these Ring doorbells! The charge lasts for a long time, and taking them down to charge them is easy! It comes with a special “key” to take them down, so while it is easy for you to remove, a thief wouldn’t be able to remove it without considerable effort, which would almost certainly break the doorbell all while recording them removing it. It is really easy to set up, even for the least tech savvy person in the room. I have had other security cams, and none of them have been anywhere near as good as these. Not even close.

Great Camera
If you do not have it hard wired in, the battery dies pretty fast. It works well and has a really clear picture, and the motion detection works like it should. The two-way talk is clear, and the live view loads quickly most of the time. The setup was easy, and it looks nice on the door. The only downside is having to take it down to charge often if it is not connected to power, which can get a little annoying. Other than that, it does the job well.

If you want a door camera that will give you peace of mind and won’t break the bank then this device is for you! It covers a good portion of area. Clear picture and the app is very easy to use. Definitely user friendly. You can listen in and also use the microphone to speak to anyone at your door. You can record anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute at a time once motion is detected. It’s very sensitive so if you don’t want alerts constantly coming to your phone, you can change the settings. That way you are only alerted when it detects a person or vehicle. We have many stay cats around my house so it goes off every time one walks by lol I would definitely recommend this device. It also holds a charge for a while as well.

High Quality-Won’t be disappointed
I am more than impressed with this! It has good sound quality and covers everything spatially enough. Crisp and clear. Subscription is not mandatory but is worth it. The adhesive for this is super tough and means business. The size is just right and is noticeable to others while also not being super bulky. It has been very durable but I have it in the inner corridor of my apartment building. Video quality is superb and bright to see. I don’t know about night vision because the light in the corridor stays on 24/7. I have all good things to say about this. I waited 2 years to get this and found it on sale. I had gotten another brand but it was not the same quality as the Ring Doorbell Series. The Ring calms my anxiety in an apartment building that has a lot of traffic for protection and surveillance of delivery packages for my door. I am alerted through my Amazon Echo Pop and my iPhone of motion at my door. It picks up everything that I need it to.

When It comes to my electronic devices, believe me when I say I study everything there is to know before I make a decision. I compare everything from cost, popularity, quality, sales – even down to color. This choice was a several week decision in the making. I’m so glad I decided on Ring. Don’t get me wrong though. There were many great products to choose from but Ring just won out overall in the long run. We couldn’t be happier with the one I bought. Easy to install, does its job superbly, very customizable, strongly made, deters crime, etc. One of the best purchases I ever made!

Really glad I purchased this. It was easy to set up and the video is decent quality. The lens has a tendency to frost over on really cold nights which isn’t ideal though.
