    So Glad I Purchased!
I have spent a few years looking for an accent chair to go in a corner of my bedroom. Great as it is for sleeping, my bed is extremely high, so sitting on it to put on sockets, etc. can be – well, a gymnastics feat. A friend of mine (about eight months ago) who had purchased several new chairs for the living room, den and his bedroom invited me over to try them out. Geez, I felt like I was flying coach class on an airline; when did inexpensive accent chairs get so incredibly narrow?!? I realize that I am a slightly larger guy, but it was like putting a 10lbs potato into a 5lbs bag.So I delayed actually purchasing one as I just wasn’t happy – until I ran across this chair. This thing is EXTRA-wide and even has leftover space when I sit down, and that’s including the two round bolsters in place! The chair (to me) is extra comfy – it is a bit firm in the seat, but that will soften the more that it is sat in.The color is neutral enough that it can go with just about any monochromatic and/or contrast color decor well; my room (in a 120+ year old house) has a lot of wood as well as dark pieces of furniture; this blended just fine. It is extremely modern in appearance, but is generic enough that it blends with multiple styles (for instance, my bed is a 150+ year old German Wedding bed, while several other pieces in the room are modern and traditional). The chair is a standard height; not too low or high to be comfortable, and deep enough to easily and comfortably sit against the back cushion while keeping feet on the floor (I am 5’11). The chair also feels extremely solid and heavy-duty; while it’s rated at 250lbs, my friend (who is 275) sat in it and there were no creaks, groaning or other issues.Assembly was quick; it took me (alone) about 25 minutes to get it all together, and it comes with very clear incongraphic instructions and the wrench necessary to assemble with no additional tools required (other than a box knife to open to box). There are also nice touches; for instance, the bolts that hold the arms and bottom together have plastic caps to put on so that nothing rubs against them and punctures or tears. HOWEVER when ordering, do yourself a favor (if you don’t have one) – buy a cheap 14mm deep socket (and driver, if you need that to) to assemble; using the included wrench will test your patience and sanity! All in all, I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this chair. I have the matching ottoman coming as well, but it hasn’t arrived yet; will review that separately.

Great Quality – some assembly tips
I bought 2 of these olive green chairs and they are beautiful. They are oversized and comfortable. I find that many Amazon chairs tend to be small but these were perfect. The assembly was not bad. One of the chairs came with no instructions but the other chair came with them. So double check you received everything. As for assembly, I do recommend reading the instructions and do not over tighten. We made this mistake and had trouble with step 5. We then loosened the screws and were able to place the rear rail. For step 6 we had to tighten the screws to ensure a secure fit. Even with these little adjustments we felt that the assembly was not that difficult. The chair is a great value for the quality and style. We even looked at comprable chairs at World Market, HomeGoods, Crate and Barrel and we felt that these chairs were amazing quality for a fraction of the price.

    Worth the price
Easy to put together. Look really nice, great quality. Not wildly comfortable but I’m using them for staging

    Highly Recommend
I absolutely love this chair. Easy to put together. Very nice looking and comfortable too. And it’s roomy enough for me and my dog.

    Not Impressed
Don’t buy this chair if you don’t like IKEA instructions, can imagine them easily in your head just by looking at all the pieces, and can come up with creative solutions to ridiculous, needless problems. Take a good look at the video above because that is THE ONLY set of instructions you’re going to get with this chair. Period. Of the 53 second video above, only half is instructions. Clearly “fast and easy assembly” is subjective. When assembling, wear clothing you’re planning to throw out shortly, and protect your hair (in fact, cover your hair with another piece of clothing you’re planning to throw out). I didn’t wear nice clothes or anything, but I certainly planned to wear them again. I don’t think that will be happening now. The Velcro on the bottom tore up my clothes, causing massive pilling and thinning of the fabric that absolutely did not exist before I started (if it had, I wouldn’t have worn the clothes to begin with). The Velcro also tears at your hair. If your head gets anywhere near it, it almost attracts your hair to it, then rips at it. If your hair is at all important to you, cover it before getting anywhere near this assembly process. Hair is held in high regard in my culture/spirituality, so this chair is the equivalent of making an evangelical person build a book shelf that says “the bible is fiction” among the shelves or an Islamic person having to build something that insulted Allah.I vacuumed my floor where I was going to put the chair together and place it multiple times before assembling, but somehow this thing was still covered in lint by the time I got it together (about an hour after starting). Clearly it’s a lint magnet, so I have serious doubts about this thing looking even half way decent under normal living conditions. If you have kids, pets, or long hair, forget it (basically, if you have long hair this chair is not for you in any way).If you follow the directions above, the back is too small to fit. If you try to put the back and sides together, then put the seat on, the seat is too big. Only after doing both of those was I able to go back to the original way (seat and sides, then back) and actually get the back on. To top it off, the chair isn’t all that comfortable. The back cushion has about half the stuffing in it that it really should have, so you just sort of sink to the back of the chair anyway. The little round cushions on the sides become really awkward when sitting. There really is no point to them. They ended up across the room and will be moved to dumpster shortly. If my last ditch attempt to put this chair together hadn’t worked, this chair would either be in the trash now (with those stupid round cushions) or back in the box it took an additional 30 minutes to get this chair out of, headed back to the furniture store in hell it came from.

    Not comfortable
This chair had good reviews when I bought it. Not a comfortable chair at all I wouldn’t buy if you thinking about comfort.I give it 3 stars for looks.
